Intro
In 2026 (Jul), I was sent an unnamed document which seems to discuss Tawaffa and Raf’a, in this document, this person alleged that Ka’b al-Ahbar was the Muslim who fabricated the idea that Eisa (as) never died and “taken” to Allah (naozobillah). However, if you look at the document, there is no reference and it says “perhaps” (see page 380). Furthermore, this person didn’t even try look this up in Al-Tabari and see how was quoted, which is the required homework.
Nevertheless, as of 7-11-26, I only found Ka’b al-Ahbar relating that Eisa (as) will be at the end of the ummah, which has noting controversial in it (See page 381). Again, most people don’t do complete research, only half, whatever suits their preconceived notions. In fact, MGA and Ahmadiyya literature has never quoted Ka’b al-Ahbar as the culprit who poisoned Abu Hurrarya (ra) and Ibn Abbas (ra) and made them fabricate stories about Eisa’s (as)(naozobillah) physical “taking” and physical return”.
It is important to note that on page 382, this phantom document says that “sources other than Tabari” on Raf’a. That is hilarious! Page 382 also mentions the lies of Wahb ibn Munabbih, and I agree, everything that he said is Isra’iliyat, his view matches MGA’s view in 1891, i.e., that Eisa (as) died for a few hours and was revived, this was also erroneously supported by Imam Malik, Ibn Hazm and others like Sheikh Imran Hosein, Sheikh Asrar Rashid explained all of this recently too.
