“A Misconception removed” by MGA from 1901, published in english in the ROR of 1922

Intro

My team and I have found a essay in the ROR of 1922, wherein it seems that the first english translation of MGA’s famous announcement wherein MGA finally claimed prophethood is given. The title of the book should be properly translated  “Correction of an error”, however, Ahmadis have translated as a misconception, which is an obvious lie.  In urdu and punjabi, the word “Ghalti” means error, not misconception.  MGA not understanding that his God was calling him a prophet for 20+ years was an error on MGA’s part, not a misconception.

In March of 1914, before the split “Eik Ghalti Ka Izala” was republished

MGA claims that 9:32 is about him, not Muhammad (saw) (nauzobillah)
In this book/announcement, MGA claims that this quranic verse was about him, not Muhammad (Saw) (nauzobillah):

“””They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths; but Allah will permit nothing except that He will perfect His light, though the disbelievers may dislike it.”” 9:32

Braheen-e-Ahmadiyya, Vol-3, 1883
MGA quotes 9:32, however, he doesn’t give a commentary.  20+ years later he tells the word in his announcement that this verse (9:32) was really about himself.  In this same announcement, MGA goes on to claim that his God has been calling himself a prophet and messenger for over 20 years.

This is why the ulema declared MGA a Kafir in roughly 1884

Tafsir Ibn Kathir confirms that 9:32 was about Muhammad (saw)

A young Mirza Ghulam Ahmad squandered his families pension money and was punished by never being able to see his mother again

Intro
We have written about this story before. However, we have found new information which seems to open up this story a bit further. The new info is from the ROR of 1922 wherein MGA’s mother was described. This essay was written by an Ahmadi named Ghulam Mohammad Ahmadi, and published on the 5th of May 1922. This essay doesn’t mention MGA’s stealing of his families pension, which led to MGA getting severely punished by never being able to see his mother alive ever again, as well as being forced to work in Sialkot for a meager salary. MGA was punished severely, and rightly so, per Islam he should have gotten his right hand chopped off, since he stole upwards of 100,000 dollars in today’s money and was on the run for up to 1 year. An Urdu video herein also describes this event.

After, this incident, MGA was banished to Sialkot and worked in the office of the Deputy Commissioner from 1864 to 1868.

In 1884, before his wildest claims, MGA defined Inni-Mutawafeeka, wa Raffa as I shall give you full reward and shall raise you towards Me

Intro
All Ahmadi’s want to talk about is 3:55 of the Quran and the alleged death of Eisa (as). Ahmadi’s will argue that it is obvious that Eisa (as) is dead, they give 30+ verses of the Quran and give other silly arguments. However, none of this proves that MGA is a prophet and the messiah, it is all a deflection. We immediately point out to them that MGA was 50 years old when all of a sudden, he claims to have figured that Eisa (as) has been dead this whole time, and the common belief (ijma) is wrong on Eisa (as).

However, a few years before MGA, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and his group of Muslims at the famous Aligarh College were already arguing that Eisa (as) was dead and never coming back, and MGA knew about this too. Sir Syed Ahmad’s beliefs were publicized all throughout British India in the 1870’s. This was before MGA began his Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya series. MGA had already planned to make all his claims as early as 1878, when he began marketing his Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya and begging Muslims for money. Sir Syed’s famous Tafsir of the Quran was published in 1880 and the portion about Eisa (as) was published in 1882. Sir Syed Ahmad Khan denied all miracles of Eisa (as) and even said that he had a biological father. MGA seems to have copied, almost verbatim, the only issue that MGA had was with prayers and how prayers could make anyone a prophet.

Nevertheless, MGA knew he was going to claim to be Eisa (as) as early as the 1870’s and kept it a secret (See At-tabligh, via Ainah Kamalate Islam). Ironically, the ROR of Dec-1939 purposely mis-translated this verse (3:55) as “death” and thus contradicted MGA’s translation.

Review of Religions, October and November of 1922–Free download

Intro
My team and I have found some of rare editions of the Review of Religions, which have never posted online. The editor was Muhammad Din. This covers the cover page and then pages 423 to 436. This is mostly a re-publishing of MGA’s famous announcement of prophethood, “Eik Ghalti Ka Izala”, or “Correction of an Error”.

Review of Religions, March, April and May 1922–free download

Intro
A young Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (age 25) squandered his families pension money and was punished by never being able to see his mother again. We are able to deduce this by reading the autobiography of MGA’s mother, Charagh Bibi, which was written in the english ROR of March, April and May of 1922. It is attached in the below for a free download. It is the story of MGA’s mother, the Ahmadi writer’s totally left out the pension story and didn’t explain as to why MGA was forced to go to Sialkot to work. It was because MGA squandered the pension money in 1864. This essay only talks about how MGA’s mother was dead, and a servant (Miran Bakhsh), was sent to bring MGA home in 1868. It should be noted that MGA hadn’t been home for 4 years, not even for Eid. After reading this autobiography, we are thus sure that MGA was on punishment by his father.

Mirza Tahir Ahmad and Mirza Masroor Ahmad told Ahmadis that it’s OK to beat their wives and to force Hijaab

Intro
Ahmadiyya is a cult, Afzal Upal has described them perfectly as “moderate-fundamentalist”.  The Qadiani branch of Ahmadi’s are very hard on their women, they don’t allow much freedoms, women can’t vote in local jamaat elections and can never be a total-local jamaat president, they are relegated to Lajna and Nasiraat, which are auxiliaries, and work independently of the main core of the jamaat. In fact, in Rabwah, all women are forced to walk around town in full niqaab, similar to how the Taliban force covering up onto their women. Recently, an Ahmadi-mullah spoke disparagingly about the Lahori-Ahmadis and how they have allowed their women to choose when it comes to Hjiaab. Interestingly, MGA allowed his young wife to walk around freely without Hijaab. MGA’s wife even boasted of being Noorudin’s escort aka laundi.
