Ahmadiyya mentioned in “The Architectural Representation of islam Muslim-Commissioned Mosque Design in The Netherlands” by Eric Roose

Intro
This book is a study of Dutch mosque designs, objects of heated public debate. Until now, studies of diaspora mosque designs have largely consisted of normative architectural critiques that reject the ubiquitous ‘domes and minarets’ as hampering further Islamic-architectural evolution. The Architectural Representation of Islam: Muslim-Commissioned Mosque Design in The Netherlands represents a clear break with the architectural critical narrative, and meticulously analyzes twelve design processes for Dutch mosques. It shows that patrons, by consciously selecting, steering and replacing their architects, have much more influence on their mosques than has been generally assumed. Through the careful transformation of specific building elements from Islamic architectural history to a new context, they literally aim to ‘construct’ the ultimate Islam. Their designs thus evolve not in opposition to Dutch society, but to those versions of Islam that they hold to be false.

It also mentions Ahmadiyya places of worship.

The history of Ahmadiyya in Australia

Intro
In 2024-2025, the Ahmadiyya Movement in Australia bought 341 acres of land in Bathhurst, New South Wales for their national headquarters in Australia. This is similar to the global headquarters in Tilford, Surrey, UK, where the 5th Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa lives. Maulvi Syed Wadood Janud also alleged that there are less than 9000 Ahmadi’s in all of Australia (90% being via asylum). He also alleged that the property costed 4 million Australian Dollars.

Ahmadiyya source allege that Charles Sievwright became an Ahmadi in 1896 (ROR of April-1906, see pages 144-150, “10 Years in Islam”). Ahmadiyya sources also allege that Charles Sievwright came to Qadian in 1903 and met MGA and then returned to Australia (See the Al-Badr magazine of 29 October 1903). He went totally missing thereafter and popped up in America in the 1920’s in the Moslem Sunrise.

Per Ahmadiyya sources only, the famous Hassan Musa Khan converted to Ahmadiyya in 1903 via a letter. They also claim that his brothers were Ahmadi, named Hassan Musa Khan and Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, however, this seems to be a lie. Allegedly, a man named Abdul Khaliq also allegedly converted to Ahmadiyya. He is Ahmadi number #1621 (See speech at the 2024-Jalsa-Australia, an Ahmadi named Malik Imran). Allegedly, his son, Ghulam Rasul Khaliq also converted and was Ahmadi #2082. Ahmadiyya sources also claim that in 1906, Hassan Musa Khan signed up for Wasiyyat in March-1906.

Hassan Musa Khan represented the Ahmadiyya Movement as their sole Ahmadi in Australia from roughly 1916 to 1928 (see the Review of Religions), he totally disappeared in Ahmadiyya history thereafter. It was also reported in the ROR of 1922 that Hassan Musa Khan was an “honorary missionary” of the Ahmadiyya Movement. The Ahmadiyya address of Box No. 305, G.P.O., Perth, Australia was ran in every edition of ROR of from July-1925 to Sep-1937. In 1932, he published his famous “History of Islamism in Australia from 1863-1932″ is published with NO author listed and nothing is mentioned about the Ahmadiyya Movement. Ahmadiyya sources allege that Hassan Musakhan died on Aug-18-1945, however, there is no corroborating information. In the 2000’s, Ahmadi’s seem to have erected a tombstone at his grave and are claiming that he was an Ahmadi (see the photo in the below under 1945).

From 1945 to 1979, there is no history of Ahmadiyya in Australia (that I was able to find). It seems that Australia was not friendly to the Ahmadiyya Movement and didn’t allow them to send a missionary until the late 1970’s. The Ahmadiyya jamaat seems to have been established in 1983 (see mosques around the world). The Khalifa, Mirza Tahir Ahmad visited in 1983 and 1989. By 1989-1990, the Australian government allotted the Ahmadiyya Movement 50 asylum visa’s per year.

The 5th Khalifa visited in 2006 and 2013. By 2020, there are about 3 Ahmadiyya places of worship and a 4th planned. We thus estimate that there are roughly 1000 Ahmadi’s in all of Australia, men, women and children. They all seem to be Pakistani asylum immigrants from the past 40 years.

Mirza Tahir Ahmad visited Fiji in 1983, Singapore, Australia and Sri Lanka also

Intro
Mirza Tahir Ahmad was the 4th Khalifa of Ahmadis, from 1982 to 2003. Mirza Tahir Ahmad radicalized Ahmadi’s as soon as he came to power (1982).

He sucked Ahmadis dry. He didn’t even care, he had no decency in him. He wanted Ahmadis to cut the stomachs of their wives and their children in terms of saving money and giving it to him. In the video posted, he explains how Ahmadis will do anything to serve the Mirza family, they don’t care about their children, they don’t care about their wives, Ahmadis only live their life to serve the Mirza family.

It should also be noted that Mirza Tahir Ahmad had a proper Pakistani passport and was able to travel far and wide without any issues from at least 1955 to 1984.

While he was in Fiji in September of 1983, he spoke about the Lahori-Ahmadi’s. Since in Fiji, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s have many members. He was asked if it was allowed to pray the janaza prayers of Lahori-Ahmadi’s. Mirza Tahir Ahmad gave a complicated answer, he said yes and no. He claimed that the Lahori-Ahmadi elders had accused his father (the 2nd Khalifa) of many heinous sex crimes, and thus, he wasn’t ready to pray with him. However, he said that the official position of the Ahmadiyya Movement was quite different, it was an administrative decision, nevertheless, Qadiani-Ahmadi’s were not allowed to pray with the Lahori-Ahmadi’s at all.

It should also be noted that Mirza Tahir Ahmad toured Europe in 1982, he inaugurated Masjid Basharat at Pedroabad, Spain—the first one to be built in that country in the last 500 years.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed that Noorudin and Muhammad Ahsan Amrohi were the 2 angels that he descended with

Intro
MGA and his team of writers were always perplexed about a hadith report from Sahih-Muslim and an identical report from Ibn Majah. In both of these hadith, it was told by Muhammad (saw) that when Esa (as) would physically descend from heaven, he would physically have 2 angels on his side. In 1914, Kwaja Kamaluddin tells us (See The Causes of Internal Dissensions in the Ahmadiyya Movement, By Khwaja Kamaluddin, 1914) that these 2 angels were Noorudin and Syed Muhammad Ahsan Amrohi. In Khwaja’s book, he didn’t talk about the hadith specifically, however, we know that this is the famous hadith from Muslim and Ibn Majah (when they refer to the 2 angels).

MGA claimed to be surrounded by angels all the time, he even called himself as as having Ruhul-Qudus (1891), in fact, his famous Khutbah ilhamiya was a situation wherein MGA claimed that his tongue was taken over by Gabriel. MGA had some weird angels who would visit him, sometimes, they would dance, sometimes they would bring money and call themselves Tichi Tichi. In 1905, MGA had a revelation of his published in his newspaper the Al-Badr wherein he described meeting an angel named Tichi Tichi. By 1907, MGA gave an explanation of this incident via Haqiqatul Wahy. However, this issue still haunts Ahmadi’s to this day. This is an embarrassing event in the history of Ahmadiyya. There were other strange angels who interacted with MGA, like Mithal Lal, Darshani, Khairati, Ayal or Ail, Sher Ali, and Hafeez. MGA had some weird angels who would visit him, sometimes, they would sing and dance. #Ahmadi sources claim that angels taught Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad the Fatiha, and no one knew it before him.  Continue reading “Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed that Noorudin and Muhammad Ahsan Amrohi were the 2 angels that he descended with”

On MGA’s death, he also commented. He also commented about the first ever Jalsa-Salana under the Khilafat of Noorudin in 1908.

Technically, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad called himself as the LAST Mujadid (also spelled as Mujaddid)

Intro
Muslims don’t normally claim to being a Mujadid. Muslims have been called as Mujadids after their death by their contemporaries. The famous term Mujadid comes from one single hadith in Abu Daud. Ahmadi sources have always claimed that in March of 1882, he received a revelation informing him that God had anointed him as the mujaddid, or reformer, for the 14th century of Islam. However, there is no reference. In 1891, in MGA’s book, Taudih-e-Maram (Elucidation of Objectives in english), on the cover of the book, MGA wrote, “Mujadid of the time” (Mujadid e Zaman), “Messiah of the time” (Maseeh e Zaman). A year later, in “Nishan Asmani” (1892), MGA again asserts to the be the Mujadid of the 14th century. MGA also claimed that he had been claiming this for 11 years, which back-dates to 1880-81, however, this is a lie, MGA never made any announcement wherein he claimed to be a Mujadid. It should be noted that in 1891, MGA claimed that it was written in ahadith that the mujaddid of the 14th century would be the Messiah, however, this is a lie.

By 1904, MGA was calling himself the Mujaddid of the millennium (see Lecture Sialkot). Nevertheless, by 1907, MGA was calling himself as the LAST mujadid (see Haqiqatul Wahi). Even in the 1960’s, with the publishing of Malfuzat, MGA allegedly said Mujadids will keep coming. Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad’s references to the concept of Mujadidiyat haven’t been found as of yet. However, in 1977, Mirza Nasir Ahmad totally denied the concept of Mujadids.
