Intro
Her mother was Sarah Begum—married the 2nd Khalifa in 1925, she was dead by 1933. she seems to have died while giving birth, both the child and the mother died tragically. Her elder brother is the famous Mirza Rafi Ahmad and her younger brother is Mirza Hanif Ahmad. She was born in 1929, she was barely 3 years old when her mother died in 1932. Per Ahmadiyya sources, she and her brothers moved into the house of the 2nd Khalifa’s first wife, Umme-Nasir, however, Amatul Naseer Begum was raised by Nusrat Jehan Begum. After partition (1947), Ahmadiyya sources allege that she used to go around in a locality in Lahore by night with others and provide blankets to those who did not have any.
In 1948, when the Mirza family was moving in at Rabwah, Amatul Naseer Begum accompanied Nusrat Jehan Begum to Rabwah and remained with her until she died in 1952. In this era, Amatul Naseer Begum was in her late teens and early 20’s. It’s unclear when she got married. In 2011, her son-in-law wrote about her.
