Asif Basit and Maulvi Ataul Fatir Tahir told many lies in a recent video about the Fazl Mosque-Temple in London. You can read about the full history of the Ahmadiyya Movement in the UK herein.
See the full review in the below.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________
1–They start off with a news report from The Chronicle which announced that Adhan was being given from the new London Mosque. Is the Adhan allowed nowadays? Noise laws in that area?
2–Why didn’t they talk about the Woking Mosque? Khwaja Kamaluddin? Why was all of that left out from the conversation? This was just 30 miles South-West of London!
3–They allege it’s the first ever Mosque in London, however, it’s a Qadiani temple, not a mosque, further, the British most likely gave Ahmadiyya the money to build it. There are no records which can prove that Ahmadi or Ahmadi women gave their jewelry to get this built, these are all lies. Ahmadiyya was the lap dog of the British and thus, they got a place of worship in London for all of their hard work vs. Islam in British India.
4—The London Mosque Fund on 1910 was fraudulent, Aga Khan? Lord Nathan Mayer Rothschild, First Baron of the famous Rothschild banking family became a trustee of the London Mosque Fund. Syed Ameer Ali was involved too, he was a “Sir Syed” guy. Begum of Bhopal, all British subjects and puppets. The London Mosque Fund was a body founded in 1910 by certain prominent Muslims, mainly of Indian origin, and some British sympathisers of Islam, with the aim of building a mosque in London. Its work led eventually to the establishment of the East London Mosque, now located in Whitechapel, London. The minutes of the meetings of its Executive Committee have been published by Cambridge University Press. These contain several references to the Woking Mosque and Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din, showing that the London Mosque Fund set up the Woking Mosque Trust as the body to hold the Woking Mosque and appointed Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din as Imam in 1913.
5–They bring up the trip by the Khalifa in 1924. However, they don’t mention Mufti Muhammad Sadiq and how he got a girlfriend of his pregnant in 1919.
Ahmadiyya sources alleged, that in early 1920, announcements were made to collect funds for a mosque in London. The Ahmadi community in Qadian raised 12,000 rupees. Unlike others, we didn’t plead with the government for funds but came together ourselves. By August 1920, a piece of land and a building were bought for £2,223 (30,000 rupees) in Southfields, London. Today, we’re sharing a rare image of 63 Melrose Road, the mission house before and during the early years of the Fazl Mosque. The building no longer exists, but this photo captures (from right to left): Chaudhry Ali Muhammad, Abdur Raheem Dard, and Yaqub Ali Irfani in front of it.

6—They mention the Al-Musawwr newspaper which reported the mosque being built. However, Egypt was a puppet government of the British. This wasn’t the islamic opinion. In fact, not even King Faisal knew who the Qadiani’s were at that point. What else can we do?

7—They also quoted the Palestine Bulletin
They didn’t give the date, where it was published? Did they know about the Qadiani’s?

8—-They quote The Baghdad Times of July-7-1922, however, they don’t mention how Iraq is a British colony and Muslims don’t read English. Allegedly bought for 15k pounds. They allege that Muslims knew this was an Ahmadiyya temple.

9—-He alleges that Muslims like Abdullah Quilliam and Khalid Sheldrake were attending. However, they never converted to Qadianism. They were invited!
BBC has produced documentary on early 20th century British Muslim Converts. Documentary sheds light on lives of three prominent converts: William Abdullah Quilliam, Lord Headley, and Marmaduke Pickthall. Film also shows scenes of Shah Jehan Mosque/ Woking Muslim Mission. At 14:19 it looks like Maulana Sadar ud Din is delivering lecture.
It [the programme] covered the work of three converts: Quilliam, Lord Headley, and Pickthall. It covered their connection with the Woking Mosque and showed their graves at Brookwood. It also had a newsreel film from the Woking Mosque, where I spotted Maulana Sadr-ud-Din giving the khutba.
Despite all this, there was no mention whatsoever of Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din or the Woking Mission, even while mentioning Lord Headley. Only the mosque was shown.

11—The London Conference of 1939, or St James’s Palace Conference, which took place between 7 February – 17 March 1939, was called by the British Government to plan the future governance of Palestine and an end of the Mandate.
On 31 January 1939, Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated at the Fazl Mosque in London. On this occasion, a reception was held at the Fazl Mosque which was attended by various dignitaries. The then Imam of the Fazl Mosque, Maulana Jalal-ud-Din Shams expressed his concerns over the deteriorating situation in Palestine and called the British Government’s attention towards making efforts for peace in Palestine. He also praised the efforts of the British Prime Minister towards the peace of Europe. He mentioned a telegram from Musleh-e-Maud (The 2nd Qadiani Khalifa) as well, which was sent to the British Prime Minister, appreciating his peace efforts amidst the conflict between major powers of Europe.
On 7 February 1939, the Conference on the Palestine issue began in London. The Birmingham Mail reported under the heading “Palestine Talks”. On 11 March 1939, Maulana Jalal-ud-Din Shams invited the Viceroy of Mecca and representatives of Palestine, Iraq and Yemen — who were in London for the Palestine Conference — to a reception at the Fazl Mosque in which 200 guests participated in total, including various dignitaries.
Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, sent a special message to the Arab delegates through a telegram. The message was read out in both English and Arabic by Hazrat Maulana Jalal-ud-Din Shams.

12—Jinnah?
Jinnah refused to call Ahmadis as Non-Muslim and refused to expel them from the Muslim League – ahmadiyyafactcheckblog
Jinnah was a stooge of the West. Wasn’t he an Aga Khan shia?
Mr Dard said: “My uncle suggested that if he did not go back to India he would be a traitor to the Muslim cause. That affected him very much. “He was stunned and remained silent for a while. Then he asked my uncle what he should do.
Jinnah persuaded to return to politics by Ahmadiyya Missionary
To symbolize Jinnah’s return to politics, Dard arranged for a lecture on the future of India at the “London Mosque” in Putney London in April 1933 where Jinnah acknowledged the Imam’s role in his decision to return to political life, saying:
“The eloquent persuasion of the Imam left me no escape.” The Sunday Times, London, 9th April 1933.

Jinnah announced his plan to return to politics from an Ahmadi mosque in the UK
As we all know, Ahmadis were heavily involved in politics since at least 1889. Before that, MGA was favored in British-India, they dropped charged on MGA many times and always offered him a chair when he came to their court. here is a famous incident from the late 1890’s wherein MGA’s biggest critic and old friend wasn’t given a chair…whereas MGA was. It’s obvious, that Ahmadis were always favored by the British and used to shape the politics of the sub-continent.
Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan (1978). Ahmadiyyat: the renaissance of Islam. Tabshir Publications. pp. 242–. He, therefore, directed Mr A. R. Dard, Imam of the London Mosque, to get in touch with Mr Jinnah and try to persuade … of 9 April 1933: There was a large gathering in the grounds of the mosque in Melrose Road, Wimbledon, where Mr Jinnah, ..
The Sunday Times of London reported:
“There was also a large gathering in the grounds of the little mosque in Melrose Road, Wimbledon, where Mr Jinnah, the famous Indian Moslem, spoke on India’s future. The chair was taken by Sir Nairne Stewart Sandeman, MP, and there were quite a number of other non-Moslems present.
“Mr Jinnah made unfavourable comments on the Indian ‘White Paper’ and the ‘safeguards’ from a national point of view. The chairman, in reply, took up the Churchill attitude on the subject, and this led to heckling by some of the Muslim students present, who were, however, eventually calmed by the Imam of the Mosque.” (Sunday Times, 9 April 1933)

During his speech, Jinnah said:
“The eloquent persuasion of the Imam left me no escape.” (Encyclopaedia Quaid-e-Azam, p. 780, Zahid Hussain Anjum)
Elaborating on this, the Pakistan Times stated:
“It was Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan and Maulana Abdur Rahim Dard[ra], an Imam of London Mosque, who persuaded Mr. M. A. Jinnah to change his mind and return home to play his role in the national politics. Consequently, Mr. Jinnah returned to India in 1934 and was elected to the Central Assembly, un-opposed.” (Pakistan Times, 11 September 1981, Quaid-I-Azam Anniversary Supplement, p. 11, col. 1)

13—Iqbal
Visited in 1931? He believed in all of those things that Sir Syed believed in via Aligarh. He turned on the Qadiani’s in 1935. However, he remained friendly with the Lahori-Ahmadi’s. From 1935 to 1938, we don’t know if he said the Kalima again and returned into Islam. Nor do we do know who read his Janazah prayer when he died in 1938.
In 1931 was he there for the Round Table conference? He had recently nominated K2 to head the Kashmir committee, allegedly.

Islam in the interwar period?
Asif mentions this, however, he doesn’t mention how Islam was controlled by the British, who were afraid of the Germans. Thus, looking for allies.
Just look at the French and their Grand Mosque of Paris, this was done to expand their own empire.
Ahmadi’s were trying to represent Islam, shias too, this was part of the British’s plan of control in their colonies.
Ahmadi’s were mentioned in some newspaper, Civil and Military Gazette. Before WW-2, only Ahmadi’s controlled Islam in the UK, either Lahori or Qadiani. Ahmadi’s had totally failed to convert people to their Kufr.

—Ahmadi’s were allowed to open mosques, no one else!!!
—Salafi’s agreed with Ahmadi’s on Jihad?

–Ahmadi’s made an immense contribution? Ahmadi’s were in-charge!!! And still failed!!!!!
—Muslims don’t appreciate the Ahmadiyya at all!!!!
—A young Muslim girl read the Quran and Iqbal cried.
—How did a tiny community raise a temple, and Muslim couldnt? ahahah, Ahmadi’s were a plant of the British.
—Headley raised 500,000 rupees from Deccan.

–Asif mentions how King George gave Muslims land and helped get a mosque built, but Ahmadi’s werent part of this. This was done in 1944, however, the mosque wasnt opened until 1977. The land was donated by George VI to the Muslim community of Britain in return for the donation of land in Cairo by King Farouk of Egypt and Sudan on which to build an Anglican cathedral.[5]
King George VI’s, father of Queen Elizabeth II, pivotal role in championing interfaith harmony cannot be overstated. His generous donation of land and his presence at the mosque’s opening ceremony underscored his commitment to fostering inclusivity within British society. The Mosque Committee, comprising distinguished Muslim diplomats and residents, accepted the gift, leading to the establishment of The Islamic Cultural Centre, housing the London Central Mosque.

Architectural considerations and financial support from international benefactors, including King Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia and Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, further contributed to the mosque’s construction. The final design by English architect Frederick Gibberd, completed in 1977, stands as a symbol of architectural achievement and cultural significance for the British Muslim community.

Asif then alleges that only Ahmadi’s gave money for the Fazl Mosque-temple. The funds were transferred to teh UK? HOw? Ahmadi women? Jewelry? They said the same about Germany!
—Why dont we argue with Bahai’s?
—He said some people pull out wikipedia pages, not proper research? Really? We have tracked other historical errors by Asif Basit.
—Ahmadiyya from 1946 to 1984?? Was dead!!!! Ahmadi’s in Hyde Park! Dard!!! Total lies.

Just before Mirza Tahir Ahmad arrived from Pakistan as he allegedly escaped persecution (Ord-XX), Maulvi Ataul Mujeeb Rashid gave a Friday sermon in late April-1984 and only 8 people were in attendance (via Maulvi Abdul Sami Khan).
Nayyar mentioened in some book?? He almost died!!!! No other Ahmadi’s ever went. There are no records until the 2020’s.
“Hyde Park: Its Orators and Audiences. By Donald Stewart Elsom and Co., Hull, 1925, pp. 32.
“This pamphlet is a lively description of the speakers at Hyde Park, and their audiences. Various speeches and arguments are summarized, and specimens of the heckling reproduced. Mr. Stewart takes advantage of the opportunity to insert a socialistic speech of his own. His study of Hyde Park does not seem to have given him a style that would command the attention of an out-of-doors audience. E. L. HUNT, Swarthmore College.”(Dolman J, Travis LE, Cable WA, Hudson HH, Hunt EL. 1927. New books. Quarterly Journal of Speech. 13[1]. p. 85)
