Intro
The Khalifa had claimed to be the Musleh Maud in January of 1944. He had 4 wives at the time, one of his wives, Umme Tahir died on March 5th, 1944. A few months after she died, the Khalifa married a relatively unknown woman, Bushra Begum aka Mehr Appa (also spelled as Mehar Appa), married on 24 July 1944 (the nikkah was announced), daughter of Syed Aziz Ahmad Shah (also written as Sayyed Azizullah Shah)(brother of Hadhrat Sayyeda Maryam Tayyaba Sahiba), was married to the Khalifa as his 7th wife in total and 4th current wife. They had NO children, she was also a cousin of Fauzia Faizi’s mother. She was also the granddaughter of Hadhrat Sayyed Abdul Sattaar Sahib. It is rumored that her nephew is the Shandy Shah aka Syed Naseer Ahmad Shah. She moved to Lahore and later to Rabwah with the Khalifa in 1947. She died on 22 May 1997.

In terms of english books, Mehr Appa is mentioned 33 times in “Hazrat Amman Jan – An Inspiration for Us All” (2011). She is also mentioned in Fazl-e-Omar. She doesn’t seem to be mentioned in any other english book. The urdu books remain unexplored. In the above mentioned book, it is clear that she lived very close to her mother-in-law (Nusrat Jehan), in fact, her room was adjacent, it is unclear if this was at Rabwah or Qadian. However, even at Rabwah, they lived in the same house and their rooms were side-to-side.

Her father and siblings?

Per Mirza Tahir Ahmad, she had 3 brothers, no sisters (at the 58:00 minute mark), her father was Syed Aziz Ahmad Shah (also written as Sayyed Azizullah Shah)(brother of Hadhrat Sayyeda Maryam Tayyaba Sahiba).

She had 2 older brothers and one younger bro. And one sister. When she died in 1997, all of her land and money was confiscated by the jamaat.

Per the Khutbah Juma of Mirza Tahir Ahmad (See at the 58:00 mark), she was born in 1919, however, this seems to be a lie. Since this would make her 25 at the age of marriage to the Khalifa and thus, the oldest bride of the Khalifa by 7-8 years.

1948

I made many flights for the community. This was in 1948 when the community had sent an infantry battalion of Ahmadi volunteers (the Furqan Battalion) to join the Pakistan Army fighting in Kashmir. The training centre for the Furqan Battalion was a few miles south of Sarai Alamgir, on the banks of the River Jehlum. Whenever I flew between Lahore and Rawalpindi on official
work, I would fly over the centre and buzz them. The Furqan Battalion was led by Colonel Muhammad Hayat Qaisrani. They were on the front line during the Kashmir War and not only defended their territory with great determination, but performed as well as any battalion of the Pakistan Army. On one occasion, Huzoor flew with me in the Fox Moth from Sialkot to Lahore. Accompanying him were his wife Syeda Mehr Apa and his daughter Amtul Basit. For technical reasons, Walton Airport was closed that day and we landed in the Lahore Cantonment airport which back then was an Air Force base where civilian craft were not allowed to land. On another occasion, I was supposed to fly to Quetta in Balochistan, but due to floods in Sindh and roads being blocked, I had to leave the plane in Jacobabad in Sindh for technical reasons.

In 1989, Syeda Mehr Apa sahiba (RA), at the request of Lt. Col. (R) Rafique Ahmad sahib honored and graced his house in Rawalpindi and stayed there for 2 days. She had high regard for the spiritual status of Ramzan Bibi sahiba and was witness to the acceptance of her prayers. She also told Dr.Tayyaba Rafique sahiba that one can read the details about the events and reasons that lead to her marriage with Hazoor (RA) in his Nikah sermon.

She dies, most likely in Rabwah on on 22 May 1997.

Mirza Tahir Ahmad admitted that she was unable to give children. Mirza Tahir Ahmad tells us that she suffered heavily in her later years, and he was happy that she died. Mirza Tahir Ahmad was 17 years old when she became her step mother (and first cousin). Mirza Tahir Ahmad seems to have managed her finances. When the 2nd Khalifa (her husband) died in 1965, she was given land and money as her share. She then wrote to Mirza Tahir Ahmad and gave all of her land and money to the Jamaat, per Mirza Tahir Ahmad. Mirza Tahir Ahmad was in Germany at that time and was promoting his plan to build 100 masajids in Germany and claimed that Mehr Appa had 300,000 German Marks from her left over land and etc, and this money would be given to the German jamaat to fund the 100 masajids project, however, this is a lie.
