Intro
MGA rarely ever wrote on the islamic position on abortion, we haven’t found anything to date (2022). In the 1960’s, Jalal ud Din Shams and the Ahmadiyya team of editors of Rabwah seem to have found some comments by MGA wherein he told the world that he was thinking about getting an abortion before his youngest child (Amatul Hafeez) was born. This alleged revelation also appeared in the 1976 english edition of Tadhkirah and its from the mysterious diary of MGA. Thus, we think that it first appeared in the earliest urdu editions of Tadhkirah. In this alleged revelation, Jalal ud Din Shams claims that MGA thought of getting his wife an abortion, however, he never gave the reason, was the health of Nusrat Jahan Begum deteriorating? She never had a pregnancy after this one (3.5 years, and she was barely in her late 30’s.
100+ years later, Mirza Masroor Ahmad says if a fetus isn’t properly developing, you can get an abortion. In 2022, Qasim Rashid claims that in sharia (islamic law), an abortion is allowed if a fetus is non viable, however, he gives no quranic references.

14 Ramadanul-Mubarak.
When I was considering whether it is better to get an abortion for Mahmud’s mother or not, at about 2:30 a.m., I received a revelation:
[Arabic] Allah would bring to light that which you conceal. A trial and lights. I am the Gracious One, again, I am the Gracious One. [Persian] Be glad that the end will be good, be glad that the
end will be good. [Persian] Bed of comfort. [Publishers].
Note by Syed Abdul Hayee: In a commentary of this revelation the Promised Messiah, may peace be on him, says:
Today, June 25, 1904, Saturday, the night that comes after Friday, 10 Rabi’uth-Thani 1322 AH. and 10 Harh 1956 [Bikrami] a girl was born to me and was named Amatul Hafiz. This is the girl about whom I had received the revelation:
