Intro
We continue to collect information which proves that MGA was born in 1839 at the earliest. We have recently found a book by the famous Shaikh Yacub Ali Irfani. He was the editor of the Al-Hakam and was an a newspaper editor with another newspaper before moving to Qadian. He wrote 4 historic books in 1915, Sirat-ul-Nabi, Sirat Ahmad, Hyat-e-Ahmad and Sirat Masih Maoud. We have found a scan from Hyat-e-Ahmad which indicates that mga was born in 1839 (See in the below). The Khalifa began to officially change this date in 1916 or so. The 2nd Khalifa seems to have written the introduction to this book. He urges all Ahmadi’s to buy this book, and thus authenticates its contents (see the scan in the below). Data about this book was posted on the islam_Ahmadiyya reddit forum, see here. This book was also quoted in a new book about the life of MGA, which is a translation of an Urdu book. The book is also on the Qadiani website herein.

In this book, MGA discusses the raising of the dead and gives a story (Hyat-e-Ahmad, V-1, Part-2, page 288)(see scan in the below).

Some summaries/quotations

Here is a page from recently found old Hayat e Ahmadiyyat, written by Yaqoob ali Irfani. It says that “For instance, one of the special events, travel to hoshiar pur and Ludhiana was taken on the instigation of Allah. He (mirza ghulam) had the good news (basharat) that this travel has been blessed for you. Indication of all these barakats were given in the ishtihar of 20 Feb 1886. This ishtihar is the foundation for this silsila (foundation stone for silsila ahmadiyya).
_____________________________________________________________________________________________A quote from Mir Nasir Nawab

Mir Nasir Nawab in his book Hayat e Ahmad page 150 telling his dialogue with a muslim. While quoting this dialogue Mir Nasir Nawab uses highly filthy abusive language in his book here is what he says:-

”He (muslim) said do u think are we Jews. I said just have a look at your self, do u think your actions are in conformity to your deeds.? Do u act upon what u say? Listening to this that man got infuriated and said your mirza does misdeed with woman whole night and at morning with wet genital he states I have received this revelations or I have received that revelation and I am Mehdi and Messiah.”

Describing the services of Mian Najmuddin Sahib, a devout companion of the promised Messiah, Sheikh Yaqub Ali writes:

When the plague hit Qadian and some deaths occurred, by the blessing of Allah Almighty, some funerals (bodies) were picked up by just me and Hazrat Mian Najamuddin Sahib and we (the two of us) went out and buried them. Among them was the funeral of Hazrat Mian Karam Dad Sahib (Allah be pleased with him), who was an extremely sincere and learned man but felt great pride in being of (personal) service to the Holy Hadhrat (The Promised Messiah). May Allah reward him with the best of the rewards.

There are some other friends like this(who perished), but this topic is not the subject of this book; among these sincere fellows Hadhrat Sakhwani (Allah be pleased with him) and Hadhrat Hafiz Moeenuddin Sahib (Allah’s mercy on him), and others (in addition to them).

In Khutbah Ilhamiya, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed that he was given the ability by Allah to raise people from the dead

MGA discusses the raising of the dead and gives a story.

Rough English translation via AI

“””It should have been, but while I am keeping a close eye on the criticism of events and the question of authenticity, I must try to remove any objections that may arise regarding any part or event in the life of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). Raised a dead man, there was a huge pit in the backyard of the house of the editor of the Khaksar Seerat Masih Mauc Wal-Hakam. A boy from Jola (known as Gulab) drowned in it. The body floated on the water. Finally, he was pulled out and it was thought that he was dead. And the truth is that he was already dead at that time. Those who witnessed this incident were still live. Hazrat Mirza Sahib was informed. He also reached the spot. Seeing this dead child, he said that a fly drowns in buttermilk and dies. If you put ashes on it, it comes back to life. It is also drowned, it is possible that it can come back to life, it should be treated according to medical principles. So he shaved his head and put horns on it. he attraction of this created the effect that the child suddenly regained consciousness. And he sat up. It was as if the dead had come pack to lifte, but his weakness and weakness were such that no words came out of his mouth and he could not speak. Seeing this condition, he said that he could not live. So within a few minutes he died. If this incident had not been in front of the people who loved facts, it would have been interpreted as a miracle of bringing the dead back to life, but you conducted an experiment by keeping in mind only a medical principle and you succeeded to some extent in this experiment. Which shows that your nature ras very thoughtful and thoughtful. Where was the case of the fly and by deducing from it you tried to revive a drowned person?””

Promised Messiah’sas lecture in Lahore

Therefore, the Promised Messiahas delivered a lecture on 31 January 1892, in the premises of Munshi Miran Bakhsh Sahib’s Kothi. The lecture was attended by thousands of people, from all walks of life, including various local dignitaries as well. The listeners were not only present at the venue but in the streets and on the roofs of the adjacent houses as well.

During his lecture, Huzooras shed light on his claims and presented strong arguments as proof of their truthfulness. Huzooras particularly narrated about the heavenly signs which were being manifested by Allah the Almighty in his favour like rain.

Huzooras said that the clerics have failed to compete with him through Quranic arguments and that now they have begun issuing edicts of kufr against him. Huzooras said that it is an easy task to declare a believer as a kafir, but it is a big thing to prove one’s own faith. The Holy Quran has outlined certain signs to identify the believers and non-believers. I invite those who declare me a kafir to decide about my faith of mine and theirs, in light of the criterion fixed by the Holy Quran, in this very Lahore. (Hayat-e-Ahmad, Vol. 3, pp. 336-337)

Hazrat Sheikh Yaqub Ali Irfanira narrates that towards the end of his lecture, Huzooras referenced his recent ishtihar – published in January 1892 – wherein he stated:

Aasmani Faisla

“These people should remember that their hostility cannot hurt Islam. They will perish like insects, but the light of Islam will grow with every passing day. God has wished that the radiance of Islam should spread throughout the world. The blessings of Islam cannot be contained by the prating of these ill-intentioned priests.” (Majmu‘ah-e-Ishtiharat [2019], Vol. 1, p. 326).

Ilzam as dialectical refutation in Islamic thought: Aristotelian origins and the argumentum ex concessis tradition
(Ya‘qub ‘Ali ‘Irfani, 2013, Hayat-e Ahmad, Rabwah: Nizarat-e Isha‘at, Vol. 1, pp. 412-413)

Munshi Nabi Bakhsh narrates the Promised Messiah’sas instructions regarding the use of these two types of responses:

“MGA used to provide me with two types of responses to the objections raised by Christians: dialectical (ilzami) and demonstrative (tahqiqi). Regarding the ilzami responses, he would instruct that when you are engaging in a public debate with Christian missionaries, always use the ilzami argument. This is because their intentions are not sincere; their aim is to mislead people, create doubts about Islam, and attack the Holy Prophetsa. In such situations, the ilzami argument effectively silences them, and the general public, who often gather merely out of curiosity, are not influenced by their deception. However, if you are speaking with someone who has already fallen into their trap or whom you suspect they are trying to influence, always start with a tahqiqi argument. Show through reason and comparison the differences between the teachings of Islam and Christianity. If you start with an ilzami argument in such cases, they might mistakenly think that there is no real, substantive answer to their objections.”
