Intro
Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi Farhan Iqbal seems to have been born in Pakistan (based on his accent), not many details of his life early life are known. Nevertheless, in 2010, at roughly 28 years old, he graduated from Jamia-Canada and was assigned some type of duty for the Ahmadiyya Movement.
In 2014, Maulvi Farhan Iqbal wrote “With Love to Muhammad the Khātam-un-Nabiyyīn”, which was a response to Farhan Yousafzai’s book. On pages 27-28, Maulvi Farhan Iqbal clearly said that Hadhrat Uthman (ra) abrogated the order of Muhammad (Saw)(naozobillah) that it was OK to use different Qira’at. To be clear, Maulvi Farhan Iqbal alleged that all other Qira’at were abrogated and not valid to use after Uthman (ra) gave this strange order. However, MGA quoted rare Qira’at in BA-4 (1882-1884 era) from Ibn Abbas and quoted other Qira’at in other books in terms of 4:159 and his own revelations (See BA-5, pages 540-541) and about MGA’s own prophethood (See Correction of an Error, page 2). He also made a video in 2016 wherein he alleged that Khatim means that Muhammad (Saw) will attest to the prophets of the future (astagfarullah).
He has served as a Missionary in Ghana, United States, and Canada. He served at Baitul Islam Mosque, Vaughan, for 5 years, and moved to Ottawa in 2017, currently serving the Ahmadiyya Community in the east end of Ottawa. He has represented the community in various interfaith events, attended radio programs discussing various matters of faith, and is on the podcast, The Conviction Project. He has also hosted several live and recorded programs on MTA (Muslim Television Ahmadiyya). He is the author of “The Myth of the Divinity of Jesus Christ”, and has co-authored 4 other books, namely, “Understanding Islam: Dispelling myths about Jihad, Oppression and Violence in Islam”, “The Quest of a Curious Muslim” and “With Love to Muhammad (sa), the Seal of the Prophets”.
In 2017, when the “Rana Luqman” scandal was beginning, Maulvi Farhan Iqbal admitted to knowing about the entire case.
In 2021, he told some big lies, he (@FarhanIqbal1) gave out an alibi wherein he claims to have visited some remote jamaats in Africa and saw and heard that most people had in fact converted to Ahmadiyya but had not connected to the jamaat and thus had drifted away from Ahmadiyya. He was referring to how Mirza Tahir Ahmad lied about millions of converts towards the end of his life, in fact, Mirza Tahir Ahmad claimed 40 million alone from India and didn’t even reveal any big numbers from Africa.
In 2023, Murabbi Farhan Iqbal deliberately misrepresents Adnan Rashid.
In Dec-2025, Maulvi Farhan Iqbal alleged that God has given humans some control of when they die. Maulvi Farhan Iqbal alleges that via prayers, righteousness and good deeds, Ahmadi’s can extend their life (see the clip on twitter and TikTok).

I don’t like to comment on people’s personal affairs, especially not on social media. I feel that it is too self-righteous for us to condemn people and the whole Jama’at based on little to no information and fill in the gaps as we go along. I think we should instead look inward and reform our own selves.
I will only say this: he never worked with children. Jama’at ensured that the moment this came to light. And he is no longer working for the Jama’at in any capacity since this was proven in court. The Jama’at also does not help people with court cases. That is a ridiculous notion. If any lawyer or expert helped him or gave him legal advice, they did it in their personal capacity and most likely in the spirit of “innocent until proven guilty”. Jama’at has nothing to do with what individuals do. It is absurd to conflate actions of individuals with Jama’at.

Recently, on twitter, Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi Farhan Iqbal commented that during Easter weekend, he saw lots of Ahmadi’s at their temples across Canada. In reality, in 2022-2023 fiscal year, the Ahmadiyya Jamaat in Canada spent 38 million, yet only received 28 million via chanda, a -10 million shortfall, nevertheless, they still sent 13 million to the UK to the main Ahmadiyya umbrella charity, AMJI.
In Nov-2024, Zia with “Aaqa Ka Ghulam” recently went on a Qadiani stream and asked if Ahmadi’s take MGA as their judge (hakam) in all matters. Maulvi Farhan Iqbal tried to give a spin and firstly alleged that MGA was only referring to his claim as Messiah and not all religious matters. However, a few minutes, Maulvi Farhan Iqbal admitted that Ahmadi’s see MGA as their judge. At that point, Bro Zia told Maulvi Farhan Iqbal that Muslims take Muhammad (Saw) as the judge, whereas Ahmadi’s take MGA as their judge (the clip is on tiktok and twitter).
Zia even quoted wherein MGA said that any hadith that goes against his Wahi get thrown away like waste paper.
