Intro
The date of this alleged lecture is unknown, it has been alleged in 1902, 1903 and 1904 by Ahmadiyya sources. It should be noted that MGA never gave any public speeches, he never gave a Khutbah-Juma, he never led any daily prayers, and he could barely speak properly. Even this alleged lecture was given by someone else.
Lecture Sialkot was not the name of this book or lecture, it was as essay by MGA entitled “Islam”, which was supposed to be delivered by MGA on Nov 2nd, 1903, at a place called “Sirae Maharaja”. However, MGA must have been sick and this, the lecture was read by Maulavi ‘Abdul Karim. Advertisement’s were printed and published within two days and a poster announcing his lecture was issued saying “Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, the Promised Messiah’s Lecture on Islam.” (see Hidden Treasures, pages 367-372).
However, 60 years ago, In the 1960’s, top Ahmadi scholar, Jalal ud Din Shams alleged this lecture was delivered on November 2, 1902 (see Hidden Treasures).
The ROR of Nov-1904 reports that it was Nov 2nd, 1904 (see pages 421-422), and it claims that MGA gave the lecture, however, that is an obvious lie. In this utterance, MGA alleged that he was in Sialkot 7-8 years, which makes it 1864 to 1871-72. After MGA died this was shortened to 1864-1868 (see Seeratul Mahdi).
This statement by the Review of Religions proves that Ahmadiyya writers, and in this case, Muhammad Ali, they all knew about MGA, they knew that MGA never gave any public speeches, however, they were always trying to make it look like MGA was a speaker….Mahmud Ahmad (1967) seems to confirm the data of the Review of Religions, further, the newest Ahmadiyya sources on this topic don’t give any proper references. Also, check out “Lecture Lahore”, which was just a few weeks before “Lecture Sialkot”.
The ROR of July-1942 tells us that this lecture was given at the Mandwa of Melaram in Sialkot. Zafrullah Khan and his father were there.
There is a famous case of mis-translation in this book too, this has to do with MGA calling himself the final brick of the prophets, just like Eisa (as) was also the Final brick (akhree eent) of the Israeli chain of prophets (See RK-20, page-213, Lecture Sialkot, pages 16-17, online English edition, via Bro Imtiaz vs. Saleem Meer, 3:10:15).
