Why did Mirza Ghulam Ahmad lie about being Chinese?

Intro
In 1865, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s father (Mirza Ghulam Murtaza) told the British government that the Mirza family at Qadian descended from the Mughal race (Mughal means Mongol)(See Punjab Chiefs, 1865 edition). In fact, he linked his family with Hadi Beg and the final year of Babar’s reign as the Mughal Khalifa. It was alleged that Hadi Beg was a Mongol (Mughal). We think that this is a lie and MGA was never part of any lineage of kings.

Nevertheless, after his dad (Mirza Ghulam Murtaza) died and with the publishing of the Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya 1-4 (1879-1884), MGA was prefacing to the world that he was Persian and he would use this for his claim of being the Mahdi in the future. In BA-4, MGA had a revelation wherein his God told him that he was Persian (See page 372, online english edition). In 1891, after MGA made his wildest claims, he quoted 62:3 of the quran and the relevant hadith and claimed himself to be Persian. However, in 1897-1898, via Kitab ul Barriya, MGA all of a sudden called himself as Chinese (See page 81, Lahori-Ahmadi translation). MGA and his team quoted Shaikh Ibn al-Arabi and his book, “Fusu s-ul-Hukam” (see page 15). Thus, MGA and his team saw something in “Fusu s-ul-Hukam” by Shaikh Ibn al-Arabi and twisted it. MGA never gave a proper reference, nevertheless, we have found the quote on page 15 and can confirm that this has nothing to do with the Messiah or Mahdi, Shaikh Ibn al-Arabi (a deviant) was talking about the Final hour and how there would be lawlessness, and a man, who is born in China would try to correct it. In 1901, as MGA finally claimed prophethood, MGA claimed to be Persian again and didn’t mention anything about being Chinese, MGA also called himself an arab on his mothers side (Fatimite).

In 1903, MGA made the same lie about being Chinese in Tadhkiratush Shahadatayn (see ref in the below). Again in 1907, via Haqiqatul Wahy (See pages 254), MGA claimed that he had been given divine revelations which indicated that he was of Chinese descent. And finally in 1908, via Chashma-e-Marifat, MGA explained that some of his ancestors might have lived in Chinese lands, also MGA confesses to a contradiction between his earlier and later writings on this topic. After MGA died, BA-5 was published and MGA claimed to only be Mughal (Mongol) per the report by Ibn Arabi (but the report said born in China). MGA said that his God has declared him to be Persian on his paternal side and Arab (from the progeny of Fatima) on his maternal side and thus, MGA contradicted all of his writings (see pages 487-488).

Razi Noman, an ahmadi mullah gets rinsed by Farid

Intro
Just to give some context, Farid did 29 videos about a year ago about the “Proofs of Prophethood of Muhammad (saw)”. Razi, the infamous Ahmadi employee from Canada immediately made 60+ videos on MGA’s “Proofs of Prophethood”. Recently, Farid started a gofundme which will get Maulvi Sanaullah‘s book, “Tarikh-e-Mirza” translated into english for the first time ever, this caught the qadiani-ahmadi’s attention.

As the video starts, it seems that Al-Moejahid (a fanatical Ahmadi from Germany, a refugee case) lured Farid to have a discussion under the guise that he would have a friend with him, however, he didn’t reveal who this friend would be, it was the infamous Ahmadi employee, Razi. Razi immediately starts shouting that he wants to talk from Quran and Sunnah, this is a famous Qadiani tactic to avoid the writings and life of MGA. In reality, Qadiani-Ahmadi’s don’t even believe in any Quran or any sunnah, they follow MGA, their newest prophet and claim that MGA=Muhammad (Saw)(mazallah).

The history of #Ahmadiyya in modern day #Kosovo

Intro
The Ahmadiyya Movement in Kosovo is managed by the Ahmadiyya Movement in Germany. We estimate that there are barely 50 Ahmadi’s in all of Kosovo.

The same Ahmadiyya sources claim that in 2006, the first ever Jalsa Salana was held. An Ahmadi missionary, Javaid Iqbal Nasir was also there, in 2015, he was the regional Murrabi and also seems to be working out of Albania, which is also managed via Germany. They have one prayer center in Prishtina.

In 2008, Kosovo was mentioned in the famous (Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosques Around The World – A Pictorical Presentation. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community; Khilafat Centenary Edition. 2008. ISBN 978-1882494514). Ahmadiyya sources alleges that the jamaat was established in modern day Kosovo in 1947.

In 2015, Maulana Samad Ghori is listed as the President for Kosovo, however (See page 32), he also works in Albania.

In July-2025, on “This Week With Huzoor”, there was a delegation from Kosovo, not much was discussed, they were there for the #2025UKJalsa. In this sitting, Mirza Masroor Ahmad criticized Islam.

The history of #Ahmadiyya in modern day #Serbia

Intro
By 2022, there are less 5 Ahmadi’s in all of Serbia, there are no Ahmadi murrabi’s and Ahmadi missions. The ROR of Oct-1937 reports that M. Muhammad Din (could be Maulvi Muhammad-uddin) was sent to Belgrade, Serbia in 1936 and started a mission, this might have been right after his mission failed in Albania. At the 1937 Jalsa at Qadian, the 2nd Khalifa told Ahmadi’s that they had a mission in Yugoslavia. Maulvi Muhammaduddin spent a large part of five years performing various preaching duties in several countries, including Italy, Albania, and Egypt. Maulvi Muhammaduddin initially went to Albania, a country in the Balkans, to preach Islam Ahmadiyyat. Opponents of the Jamaat filed complaints with the government, accusing him of corrupting the religion of Islam. Despite the fact that the government of Albania was Muslim, the Muslims there protested, and eventually, King Zog ordered Maulvi Sahib to be expelled from the country. The 2nd Khalifa mentioned that he wrote to Maulvi Muhammaduddin Sahib and encouraged him to continue preaching. Through his efforts, some people even accepted Ahmadiyyat, including leaders of Muslims who were also representatives of Muslims in parliament. Subsequently, the government of Yugoslavia was alerted by the government of Albania, who then expelled Maulvi Muhammaduddin Sahib from the country. After that, he went to Italy, then Egypt, and finally returned to India. Later, when he was sent to West Africa, during his travels, the ship sank on the way there (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 8, p. 358).

In Albania, his brother writes, Maulvi Sahib stayed at a hotel in Tirana, the capital of Albania, and started preaching Islam. It was during the time of Shah Ahmet Zogu, whose ancestors were Muslims; however, the Shah himself had been heavily influenced by Western civilization. In a period of about six to seven months, the so-called Muslim scholars of the country considered Maulvi Muhammaduddin Sahib a danger and complained to the government, leading to his expulsion within twenty-four hours. Maulvi Muhammaduddin Sahib then went to Belgrade, the capital of Yugoslavia, where he succeeded in introducing Ahmadiyya to a respectable family. Due to the influence of this family, it became easier for him to preach. He had two books of the Promised Messiah translated into the local language and started selling them. Through individual meetings, he introduced Islam Ahmadiyya to various other people of different classes.

Gradually, Maulvi Muhammaduddin Sahib’s preaching efforts went beyond the city limits of Belgrade, and he planned to leave the city. He requested permission from the government; however, during this time, the papers for his expulsion from Albania were received. The Yugoslavian police removed him from their borders within 24 hours and took him to Albania, where he was left at the Greek border. A ship was departing from a Greek port for Italy, and to board the ship, Maulvi Muhammaduddin Sahib sold all his clothes and some other items to buy a ticket. In this way, he reached Rome.

In 1941, in spite of Yugoslav attempts to remain neutral in the war, the Axis powers invaded Yugoslavia. The territory of modern Serbia was divided between Hungary, Bulgaria, the Independent State of Croatia, Greater Albania and Montenegro, while the remaining part of the occupied Serbia was placed under the military administration of Nazi Germany, with Serbian puppet governments led by Milan Aćimović and Milan Nedić assisted by Dimitrije Ljotić‘s fascist organization Yugoslav National Movement (Zbor).

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad willfully misattributed this hadith to the Prophet (peace be upon him) via al-Bukhari: “A voice from the sky..”

Intro
In 1893, via his book Shahadatul Quran, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad willfully misattributed a hadith to the Prophet (peace be upon him) via al-Bukhari (See pages 65-66). MGA and his team of writers boldly claimed that there was a hadith from Muhammad (saw) and authenticated into Sahih Bukhari which claimed that in the latter days a Khalifa will emerge and he will be accompanied with a voice from heaven which would say to the effect that this is the هٰذا خَلِیْفَۃُ اللِّٰ الْمَھْدِيّ [This is God’s Khalifah, the Guided One]. However, this is a total lie, there is no such sahih hadith in any collection. MGA used this argument again in “Siraj-e-Munir” (see online English edition, page 18).

A few years ago, Razi, who is an employee of the Ahmadiyya Movement wrote a response on his website to the effect that “”Either Ahmad forgot or there was an error in the transmission process from Ahmad to the pen man”“. Razi claims that MGA’s scribe made an error which lasted over 100 years, how ridiculous is that? He then claims to have found a similar hadith in “Al’ Arf al Wardi Fi Akhbar al Mahdi”, Hadith #166, which was written by the famous scholar Suyuti (we have posted the arabic scan in the below). However, Razi didn’t give the full ref, nor did he comment on the on 150+ hadith in this collection which confirm that the Mahdi and Eisa (As) are 2 different people altogether. Further, hadith #166 doesn’t come from the tongue of Muhammad (saw), and it tells about the Mahdi fighting a war, which Ahmadi’s totally disagree with.

Razi also claims that this so called hadith was mentioned by Maulana Qasim Nanotwi who was the founder of the Deoband school of thought, however, Razi doesn’t give the reference.

Tarikh-i-Mirza (History of Mirza), by Maulvi Sanaullah (1923), quotes and background information

Intro
In 1923, Maulvi Sanaullah wrote a book entitled, “Tarikh-i Mirza” (History of Mirza), which covered his debate with Ahmadi’s in 1902 at the village Mudh and his subsequent visit to Qadian. We have posted quotes in the below. “Tarikh-i Mirza” (History of Mirza) is a book of 64 pages. Some brothers just launched a gofundme account for this, see here. Check out Farid responds youtube channel herein for his video on this.

“Tarikh-i Mirza” (History of Mirza) talks about MGA’s book, “I‘jaz-e-Ahmadi” (The Miracle of Ahmad, 1902) and how MGA had personally invited Maulvi Sanaullah to Qadian (see page 40) as well as all the Muslims of India (see pages 9, 18 and 41), MGA mentioned Maulvi Sanaullah 70+ times in this book. On page 65, MGA prophecied that Maulvi Sanaullah would never come to Qadian. However, a few weeks after this book was published, Maulvi Sanaullah pulled up to Qadian (See Tarikh-i-Mirza) and asked to speak to MGA and etc. MGA and his team totally refused.

The history of #Ahmadiyya in the #UnitedKingdom, 1913-1983

Intro
Uptil 1984, the jamaat in the UK was very small, there was barely 1 Ahmadiyya temple (The Fazl Mosque) and the same amount of Ahmadiyya missionaries. There were some Ahmadi celebrities in this jamaat, Zafrullah Khan and Dr. Abdus Salam. We estimate that there were barely 800 Ahmadi’s in all of the U.K. by 1984. The ROR of May-1937 reported that there were 10 honorary missionaries running around.

In 1924, the 2nd Khalifa visited.

In 1935, Sir Hubert Stewart-Rankin, the 36-year-old leader President of the British Muslim Society has resigned. Sir Hubert Stweart-Rankin tried to get a resolution passed wherein Ahmadi’s would be barred from joining this organization. However, this resolution was shot down, since most of the executive committee and secretaries were Ahmadi. After the resolution was shot down, Sir Hubert walked out. Sir Hubert alleged that he would be starting a new organization. This seems to be referring to the Lahori-Ahmadi’s and their leader, Maulvi Muhammad Ali. Khalid Sheldrake is also mentioned, as well as his short lived, “Western Islamic Association”, of which Sheldrake is the President and Sir Hubert the Vice President. The newspaper alleges that there are roughly 10k Muslims in the UK, of which 90%+ are Indian sailors. The Aga Khan is trying to build a mosque at South Shields. The newspaper also acknowledges that there are 2 mosques in London in 1935, the Qadiani’s at Southfields and the Lahori-Ahmadi’s at the Woking.

In 1955, the 2nd Khalifa visited again.

By 1979, the Ahmadiyya Movement was claiming to have only 2 mission houses and 2 mosques in the country.

In 1984, the 4th Khalifa permanently moved to London on asylum and moved the Ahmadiyya headquarters therein.

Dr. Pennell vs. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, 1904-1909

Intro
In 1904, Dr. Pennell visited Qadian and requested to speak with MGA (See Al Hakam 10 January 1904). He was a Church of England missionary appointed in Banu for 11 years, Dr Pennell arrived on his bicycle in Qadian as part of his travels with his disciple who he referred to as his son. He was dressed as a Sadhu in ocher-colored clothes, wearing a turban and traditional sandals. His appearance described in Al-Hakam corresponds directly with a picture of Dr Pennell in his book “Among the Wild Tribes of the Afghan Frontier” (published in 1923)in which he describes some of his experiences during his travels including his visit to Qadian.

He met Mufti Muhammad Sadiq in Qadian in 1904 and asked to meet MGA (See Al Hakam 10 January 1904). Mufti Muhammad Sadiq told him that MGA was sick and wouldn’t be able to meet him. In 1923, Dr. Pennell wrote vs. Ahmadiyya, a few years later, Mufti Muhammad Sadiq wrote about him in his famous book, “Zikr-e-Habib”.

After returning from Europe in 1955, the 2nd Khalifa hung out at the Beach Luxury Hotel in Karachi, Pakistan

Intro
After returning from an extensive tour in Europe and with a small piece of metal in his neck, the 2nd Khalifa spent lavishly on a reception at the Beach Luxury Hotel in Karachi, Pakistan in September of 1955. Ahmadiyya sources claim that the 2nd Khalifa gave a lecture on Sep-21-1955 ( See Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 17, pp. 29-34 also). Many local newspapers commented on this reception, a few of them are as follows, Roznama Inqilab of Karachi, Roznama Jang of Karachi, The Daily Evening Star of Karachi, The Daily Pakistan Standard of Karachi, Roznama Amroz of Karachi, Roznama Millat of Lahore, Roznama Nawa-i-Kashmir of Lahore, and Roznama Pasbaan of Dhaka. He was also at the Beach Luxury Hotel in 1953, see the refs in the below.
