Intro
Maqbool Ahmad Qureshi arrived in the USA on 6 Sept 1967 and was immediately working as the Missionary-in-charge in the USA. He became the editor of the Muslim Sunrise and was working out of the Dayton Mosque-temple at 637 Randolph St, Dayton, Ohio.

He worked as missionary-in-charge until 1971. In Jan of 1972, Maulvi Abdur Rahman Khan Bengali (aka A.R. Khan Bengali) kept having heart attacks, so the Ahmadiyya Movement appointed Maqbool Ahmad Qureshi as the “Acting Missionary-in-Charge of the USA” (See the Ahmadiyya Gazette of Jan-1972).

From 1972 to 1983 he got kicked out of Ahmadiyya by the order of Mirza Nasir Ahmad, however, he remained in the USA. Allegedly, he refused to go back to Pakistan per the order of the Khalifa.

In 1983, after begging for forgiveness to Mirza Tahir Ahmad, he is mentioned in Ahmadiyya newspaper as working in and around the Ahmadiyya temple in Washington D.C., the American Fazl Mosque. He also became editor of the Ahmadiyya Gazette for 1983-1984. He remained a regular member of the Washington D.C. jamaat until at least 1986.

In roughly 2010, his paternal grandson, Farhan Qureshi (on TikTok as @wahdat.al.wujud) publicly left Ahmadiyya and debated another ex-Ahmadi, Nabeel Qureshi. On the surface, it seems that Farhan Qureshi left Qadianism and joined Islam, however, Qadiani beliefs never left him, in fact, he still believes that Hell is not eternal. By 2015, Farhan Qureshi left Islam too and seems to have joined Hinduism, in 2025, he tells people on TikTok that he believes in perennialism.
