Intro
Qazi Muhammad Abdullah was a Qadiani-Ahmadi who approved as a missionary without any formal training. He was sent to the UK in 1915 to relieve Chaudhri Fateh Muhammad Sial. Ahmadiyya sources claim that he was a student at the Talim ul Islam High School at Qadian (See ROR of Sep-1915). He returned to Qadian on 28 November 1919, he was at the 1919 Jalsa at Qadian, as reported by the ROR of Jan-Feb-1920. He totally disappeared thereafter.

The ROR of Sep-1915 reports that left Qadian on Sep-6-1915 and arrived in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Sep-15th, 1915.

The ROR of Oct-1915 has “A Word of Advice” from the 2nd Khalifa as he sent him off towards London. He departed for England as a missionary on 6 September 1915. He returned to Qadian on 28 November 1919. Original Urdu text is printed in Al-Fazl, 14 September 1915.

1916

The ROR of January-1916 alleges that it was Sayyal who told (roughly late 1914 and early 1915) the Anjuman Tarraqi Islam at Qadian that there was a huge need for an english translation of the Quran, this set into motion a series of events wherein Part-1 of an english commentary of the Quran was published. Anyone who wants to get a copy of Part-1 of an english commentary of the Quran should send a letter to Secretary of the Anjuman Tarraqi Islam, Punjab, Qadian, India or to Qazi Abdullah at 257 Richmond Road, Twickenham, UK. 

The ROR of February-1916 has a long write up on the 2 year anniversary of the Anjuman Tarraqi Islam. They also announced expenditures at 2646-14-0 rupees. They also announced that there were 15 Qadiani-Ahmadi missionaries working in the world, 12 in India, 2 in England (Qazi Abdullah and Sayyal) and 1 in Mauritius. It also alleges that 7 white people joined Ahmadiyya. Moreover, he seems to be working with an islamic organization called, “The Islamic Society”, it is located next door as the 2 ahmadi murrabi’s, the address is 46 Great Russel Street, London. Sayyal is a vice president. Qazi Abdullah is on the committee. 

The ROR of Mar-April of 1916 reproduces a speech by Qazi Abdullah given on January 16th, 1916 at Brighton, England. It is entitled, “A Lecture on Islam”. He argued that prophets will continue to come and etc. The ROR of Mar-April of 1916 alleges that 12 people have converted to Ahmadiyya and posted a letter from a new Ahmadi white-lady who has recently converted. She mentions how she missed the lectures of the previous murrabi Mr. Sayal. 

The ROR of June-1916 alleges that Qazi Abdullah is doing good work and the work of Fateh Muhammad Sayyal is remembered, specifically, how he converted Mr. Silvio Bashir Corio, the first ever European to Ahmadiyya. 

The ROR of Sep-1916 reports that Qazi Abdullah has moved to a new location at 41 Great Russel St, London, W.C., Brother Evans is also there. 

The ROR of Oct-1916 reports that Qazi Abdullah is working in Bloomsbury (a district in the West End of London). Qazi Abdullah mentioned Jesus in India and the Yuz Asaf theory. He also claimed that there were 500,000 Ahmadi’s in the world. The ROR of Oct-1916 mentions the Dowie Prophecy, this is an article by Qazi Abdullah, the Ahmadi missionary in London. It also mentions how an italian by the name of Mr. Silvio Bashir Caris is working with Abdullah and even wrote a letter to the ROR offices and gave updates. Mr. Silvio Bashir Caris specifically reports how Qazi Abdullah has moved into a new mission house at 41 Great Russel St, London, W.C., this is in the heart of downtown London and across the street from the famous British Museum. Muhammad Eunus Evans also wrote a small report as well an english lady. It also reports that Part-1 of an english commentary of the Quran could be had with the Qazi out of London.

The ROR of Feb-March-1917 reports that on November 5th, 1916, a young english Ahmadi gave a lecture at the Ahmadiyya mission house at 41 Great Russel St, London, W.C.

The ROR of Nov-1916 reports that Qazi Abdullah is touring London and giving speeches on Ahmadiyya. It also reports that Part-1 of an english commentary of the Quran could be had with the Qazi out of London.

In the ROR of Dec-1916, he is mentioned by Abul Hashem Khan as someone who will be available to answer any questions by Christians in London and etc.

The ROR of Dec-1916 it is mentioned how he is giving speeches in the London area. He even compiled one of his speeches into a small booklet entitled, “Islam as interpreted by a Muslim”.

The ROR of Jan-1917 has an ad which tells the public that the Qadiani-Ahmadi english translation of the Quran could be had with Qazi Muhammad Abdullah (an ahmadi missionary working in the UK).

The ROR of Feb-March-1917 has an ad which tells the public that the Qadiani-Ahmadi english translation of the Quran could be had with Qazi Muhammad Abdullah (an ahmadi missionary working in the UK).

The ROR of April-May-1917 has an ad which tells the public that the Qadiani-Ahmadi english translation of the Quran could be had with Qazi Muhammad Abdullah (an ahmadi missionary working in the UK).

The ROR of June-1917 has an ad which tells the public that the Qadiani-Ahmadi english translation of the Quran could be had with Qazi Muhammad Abdullah (an ahmadi missionary working in the UK).

The ROR of Oct-Nov-1917 reports that he is working out of London and with Mufti Muhammad Sadiq has converted 50+ people to Ahmadiyya.

The ROR of Oct-Nov-1917 has an advertisement in it wherein it is stated that the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s english translation of the Quran (only 1 part) could be had from Qazi Abdullah (B.A. & B.T.), his address was 41 Great Russel St, London, W.C. 

The Dec-1917 edition of the ROR reports that he travelled to South Sea. He was there from Oct 19-29th, 1917. He gave many lectures and distributed lots of literature. Mufti Muhammad Sadiq was also there simultaneously.

1918

The Jan-1918 edition of the ROR reports that he is working at the headquarters of the UK jamaat, 4 Star St, Edgware Rd, London. Whereas Mufti Muhammad Sadiq is working in the extreme south, on the Isle of Wight.

The Feb-1918 edition of the ROR reports that he is working in London and Mufti Muhammad Sadiq is working out of the Isle of Wight and gave a lecture at the Ventor Town Hall.

The ROR of May-1918 reports that Quazi Abdullah has given a Belgian officer a French translation of the “Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam”.

The ROR of June-1918 reports that Qazi Abdullah published a paper entitled, “The Crying Need of The Age Fulfilled”. He published this paper for distribution in Southsea and London.

The Aug-Sep-1918 edition of the ROR reports his work in London, they claim that he converted a white lady to ahmadiyya.

The ROR of Nov-Dec-1918 reports that he has had some success with converts in the northern area of London.

1919

The Jan-Feb-1919 edition of the ROR reports that Qazi Abdullah is working at the headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Movement in the UK, which is very cold. The Mar-Apr-1919 edition of the ROR reports that he is giving speeches and even has a letter of his. The ROR of May-Jun-July-1919 edition of the ROR reports that a letter by Ahmadi’s, which mentioned Bro Qazi Abdullah. It is alleged that this letter was published in the “Western London News” of 4-12-19. It also tells how Bro Qazi Abdullah gave a lecture on 4-27-1919, the topic was, “Ahmad, the Messenger of the Age”, this was given at the Trades Union Hall. It also reports that he went to Southend and distributed literature. Qazi Abdullah gave a few lectures in May of 1919, these seem to be at the Ahmadiyya Hall, 4 Star Street, W.2., Edgware Rd, London, UK. Mufti Muhammad Sadiq was working with him and both giving lectures. They also reported that Brother Abdullah had a sever sickness of asthma and bronchitis. Bro Qazi Abdullah went to Hastings to recover and gave a lecture on “The Message of Prophet Ahmad” on 6-30-1919.

The ROR of Aug-Sep-1919 reports that Qazi Abdullah is set to return to Qadian. The Oct-Nov-1919 edition of the ROR reports that he is giving lectures at the Ahmadiyya Hall in London. However, a few weeks later, he was at the 1919 Jalsa at Qadian, as reported by the ROR of Jan-Feb-1920.
