Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and his prophecy about the slaughter of 2 goats (1884 to 1897)

Intro
In 1893, MGA was hinting that this revelation from 10 years earlier (see BA quote) was about the Muhammadi Begum situation. In 1897, in MGA’s book, Anjam e Athim, MGA attributed this revelation to his prophecy about Muhammadi Begum. However, by 1903, MGA had changed his mind and claimed it was about his Afghani followers who were executed. He said it again in 1907. MGA allegedly has another revelation in connection with the “2-goat prophecy“, this was a 3-goat prophecy. In the ROR of Dec-1933, the 2nd Khalifa connected it to the execution of Maulavi Ni‘matullah Khan (on August 31, 1924), and Maulavi ‘Abdul-Halim and Qari Nur ‘Ali on February 12, 1925 (See al-Fadl, February 21, 1925, p. 1, quoted in Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, vol. 5, p. 475 via Tadhkirah and the ROR of Dec-1933). In the 1960’s, the Ahmadi imam Jalal ud Din Shams claimed that the 3-goat prophecy was fulfilled in the same way.

MGA claimed to have had this revelation:

[Arabic] Two goats will be slaughtered and there is no one on the earth who can avoid death. That is, everyone has to submit to divine decrees and no one can escape death…

MGA claims that half of this prophecy was completed, since it was Muhammadi Begum’s father, who had died, he resembled one of the goats, the other goat was the husband of Muhammadi Begum, Sultan Muhammad. MGA wrote this in an arabic only book, “Anjam e Athim).

The Promised Messiah said: In literal compliance, I have arranged for the sacrifice of three goats. In later years, post 1960, Jalal ud Din Shams alleged that this revelation was about 3 Ahmadi’s who were executed by Amir. Maulavi Ni‘matullah Khan was martyred on August 31, 1924, Maulavi ‘Abdul-Halim and Qari Nur ‘Ali on February 12, 1925. In Haqiqatul Wahy, MGA ascribed this prophecy to Maulawi Sahibzadah ‘Abdul-Latif and his auspicious disciple Sheikh ‘Abdur-Rahman.
