Intro
In 2022, there are barely 20 #Ahmadis in South Korea. There is some activity in 2019 herein a man named Dr. Tariq Shamim Khwaja, is the National Sadr of South Korea. South Korea is under the financial management umbrella of the AMJI. We have posted MGA’s alleged revelations about Korea in the below (See ROR of Jan-1912), MGA was allegedly predicting the humiliation of Korea. Ahmadi editors claim that MGA was predicting the victory of Japan.
Intro
Mr. Amri Obaidi seems to have been a black man who was born in Tanzania and converted to Ahmadiyya at a young age (you can read about the history of Ahmadiyya in Tanzania herein). He seems to have been born in 1924. His name is also spelled as Sheikh K. A. Amir Abedi. He was the first ever native East African mayor of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
In the early 1950’s he went to Jamia-Rabwah and allegedly qualified as a Qadiani-Ahmadi murrabi.
In 1960, he served as a Minister of Justice and as Minister of Education and Culture, as well as led the Tanganyikan delegation to the Eighteenth Session of the United Nations General Assembly. He was a native Swahili speaker (See State Ideology and Language in Tanzania By Jan Blommaert p.56-57) and The Anglo-African Commonwealth: Political Friction and Cultural Fusion By Ali A. Mazrui p.127). Sheikh Kaluta Amri Abedi came to the U.S. on a State visit in the 60s. He visited the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Philadelphia and took a group photo with them. This photo of him is sandwiched between photos. A new book has just hit the market titled: A Diamond of Africa: The Illustrious Life of African Ahmadi Sheikh Amri Abedi. It just so happens that I had these group photos of the early Phili community, in which he was in two of them. He died in 1964 at the young age of 40 as a result of food poisoning (see “Tanzania: Party Transformation and Economic Development”) while he was in Egypt.

Intro
He was the son of Begum Shafi Ahmad (born Sunni-Muslim) and Syed Shafi Ahmad of Delhi, who had accepted Ahmadiyyat in 1903. Syed Shafi Ahmad of Delhi allegedly belonged to the family of Khawaja Mir Dard and was the son of a cousin of Nusrat Jehan Begum (MGA’s second wife). His brother (Syed Hasanat Ahmad) is also a famous Ahmadi and has books on alislam.org.
He was an Indian diplomat. He had a doctorate in Arab history from the American University of Beirut and a doctorate in literature from the University of Tehran. Ahmad was also the First Secretary of the Indian High Commission in Australia, High Commissioner to the West Indies, and an adviser to the Indian delegation to the United Nations. He also served as rapporteur to the United Nations Special Committee on Apartheid and was a fellow of the Indian Council of Historical Research. He seems to have lived in New York for the last 10+ years of his life (1977-1987). He died in Delhi on July-30-1988 (See page 37). Barakat Ahmad died in 1988 as a result of bladder cancer.
He represented India at the United Nations in committees dealing with the Arab-Israeli dispute, question of Human Rights and Colonial Affairs. He spent four years in the United States, three in Europe, three in Australia and twelve in the Middle East on diplomatic assignments. It seems that he was living in New York in the 1970’s and was a member of the Ahmadiyya Community of New York (see page 37). He translated many books into English. He famously translated “Murder in the Name of Allah” into English which was published a year after he died. His book, “Introduction to Qur’anic Script” was published posthumously in 1999.

Azhar Hanif was born in roughly 1958 in NY, he grew up however, in Boston, MA. After High school, he went to Brown University, which is a just a few hours from Boston (via car) and in Rhode Island. He played basketball at Brown University (an Ivy League school). He wasn’t that good. He didn’t show up to the 1976 USA Jalsa even though the Khalifa was there, Mirza Nasir Ahmad. He was also a no-show at the 1977 Jalsa Salana in St. Louis. No one on his team was drafted to the NBA. During his career at Brown, he averaged 7.6 points per game, 5.2 Total Rebounds Per game and was about 50% while shooting. After failing at basketball and academics, he ends up showing up at Qadian with his parents (1982) and was very sick. From Qadian he travelled over the border via Amritsar-Lahore and entered Pakistan and went straight to Rabwah. He met the 2nd Khalifa and gave him a letter wherein he asked for a job. Azhar Haneef and his family stayed for the famous 1982 Jalsa-Salana at Rabwah.
Azhar Haneef and his parents returned to America and got the letter from Rabwah, and Azhar Haneef was approved to become a Qadiani-Ahmadi Maulvi. He arrived in Rabwah in 1983, he says that the 4th Khalifa, Mirza Tahir Ahmad asked him to coach the Ahmadiyya basketball team, which he did. Per his own admission, he didn’t graduate from Jamia-Rabwah and his visa expired in Pakistan since he wasn’t attending an islamic center for learning. Thus, in 1989, without graduating, he left Pakistan. He seems to have gotten married in this period. He was then sent back to Baypoint, Ca for a few years with his Pakistani wife. He was transferred out of Baypoint in roughly 1993 and eventually became the missionary-in-charge in the USA (since 2020?) and Naib Amir (2014)(0:51 time stamp).
His father, Abid Haneef converted to Ahmadiyya on August 13th, 1948 (see page 24)(and his wife Saliha Hanif, also spelled Saleha Haneef, she was Lajna President from 1953-1954). They were all living in NY in 1956-1959. While in New York (1948–1961) he worked with Zafrullah Khan extensively, since Zafrullah Khan was always visiting at the United Nations headquarters in NY. Abid Hanif confesses to be involved in the famous Mubahila challenge vs. Billy Graham, which was issued by Sheikh Mubarak Ahmad. In fact, Abid Hanif and 2 other Ahmadi’s were arrested for their antics vs. Billy Graham. His father was also fast friends with Rashid Ahmad, who was allegedly the first ever African American missionary, however, it seems that he was demoted as a result of sexual impropriety and made into a “Waqf-e-Zindagi”. Factually, Rashid Ahmad was never listed as an Ahmadi murrabi in the USA. In fact, in this video he admits that when he returned to America in 1955, Maulvi Ghulam Yasin exclaimed how he wasted his time in Rabwah and only followed the Khalifa around (6:04 time stamp).
Interestingly, in 2023, Maulvi Azhar Haneef said that it’s unclear whether Alexander Webb was an Ahmadi or not, there is no evidence that proves that Webb was an Ahmadi (See 1:18:00 time stamp and this tik tok).
—Maulvi Azhar Haneef gave a speech on Sunday, July-6-2025, at the USA Jalsa-2025 on “Intrigues against Early Khilafat & the Role of Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya in Restoring Islam to its Glory”. In this speech, he accused Muslims of failing to unite and blamed their plight in Gaza and other Muslim countries as punishment for not accepting the Ahmadiyya Khilafat (17:40 time stamp). Maulvi Azhar Haneef alleged that Muslims have failed to unite with their Petro dollars and etc. etc. Maulvi Azhar Haneef argued that Muslims had went stray since Umar (ra) was assassinated (1000+ years ago). At 19:26, he says that in 1926 when the Ottoman Sultanate died out, that is when the true Khilafat (that of the Mirza family) began. Maulvi Azhar Haneef was so bold he alleged that Tahrik-e-Jadid has eliminated poverty (19:56 time stamp) and illiteracy in the world (a total lie). At 27:31, Maulvi Azhar Haneef explains how in 1956, the 2nd Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa sent a message to the USA Ameer for Qadiani’s, Dr. Khalil Ahmad Nasir and asked him to translate the book Wasiyyat into English (See the Ahmadiyya Gazette of the First Quarter-1956). Maulvi Azhar Haneef implores Ahmadi’s to pay 10% of their monthly income and 30% of your assets when you die. At 30:08, Maulvi Azhar Haneef doesn’t understand why more Ahmadi’s haven’t signed up for Wasiyyat. Maulvi Azhar Haneef argued that Wasiyyat is vital for Islam and society. At 31:31, Maulvi Azhar Haneef argued that Wasiyyat is not a financial scheme! At 32:01, Maulvi Azhar Haneef argued that Wasiyyat would make this world, as a world of peace. At 35:46, Maulvi Azhar Haneef argued that Wasiyyat in the USA has a 50% membership target and it has not been reached. At 36:55, Maulvi Azhar Haneef alleges that the 2nd Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa said that Wasiyyat comprises in itself the whole social and economic system of Islam. At 37:50, he begs Ahmadi’s to give Mirza Masroor Ahmad the gift of signing up for Wasiyyat. Maulvi Azhar Haneef says that Ahmadi’s have failed in this regard and chased the dunya! At 38:21, Maulvi Azhar Haneef begs Ahmadi’s to convince other Ahmadi’s to sign up for Wasiyyat. At 41:34, Maulvi Azhar Haneef mentioned Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din and alleged that the Khwaja didn’t understand Wasiyyat. At 47:18, he alleged that Maulvi Nur ud Din said that when a nation loses righteousness, then Allah’s punishment comes, however, he says that Ahmadi’s are saved from this punishment, since they accepted MGA and thus not deserving of divine wrath. He also mentioned the recent death of Abdur Raqib Wali. In conclusion, Maulvi Azhar Haneef alleged that if you pay 10% monthly chanda (via Wasiyyat) and 30% of your assets at death, you will be protected by divine wrath.
In 2025, At the #WCJS25#WCJS2025#WestCoastJalsa, Azhar Haneef says that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad became the son of Allah (naozobillah), and Ahmadi’s can become the children of Allah (See the clip on TikTok and Twitter).

In 1882-1884, MGA got 3:55 of the Quran (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) as a revelation, MGA translated WAFFA as a “taking” and thus not death (See Braheen-e-Ahmadiyya vol. 4, online English edition, page 398)Urdu, Barahin-e-Ahmadiyyah V-4, pp. 556–557 sub-footnote 4–Urdu, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 1, pp. 664–665 sub-footnote 4—Urdu). In the same book, a few pages later (page 434-435), MGA again alleges to have received 3:55 of the Quran (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) as a revelation and argued that it was about himself and that this means that I shall give supremacy to those who follow your beliefs and religion over others in arguments, reasoning, and blessings, until the Day of Resurrection. Additionally, MGA began adding “or”, MGA argued that 3:55 meant, O ‘Isa, I shall give you full reward or cause you to die and shall raise you towards Me, meaning that I shall raise your status or will raise you from the life on earth towards Me. MGA was alleging that this verse (3:55) had multiple interpretations.
In 1883, in a letter to Mir Abbas (the first ever ex-Qadiani), MGA began confessing to getting 3:55 (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) as a revelation repeated so many times that Allah alone knows the count. Sometimes MGA received it continuously from mid-night till the Fajr time (must be over 50 times)(See Maktubat-1, p-67-68, letter-35, published in 1908)(See also in Hayat-e-Ahmad, 1915, v2, number 2, page 72 by Sheikh Ya‘qub ‘Ali ‘Irfani).
In 1891, MGA and his team of writers quoted 3:55 of the Quran (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) as part of his “30 verses” which allegedly proved that Eisa (as) had died (See Izala-e-Auham, RK v3, pp. 224-225, see also, Essence of Islam, vol–3, pages 193-194).
In 1897, MGA and his team of writers quoted page 556 of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya wherein MGA got the revelation 3:55 of the Quran (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) and argued that this verse meant that O ‘Isa, I will cause you to die a natural death and will raise you towards Me; I will grant predominance to your followers over those who disbelieve. And your followers will be of two types, the earlier ones and the later ones (See Siraj-e-munir, online English edition, page 77).
In 1898, MGA and his team of writers confessed that in the Barahin-e-Ahmadiyyah, MGA had mistakenly interpreted tawaffa as meaning ‘full reward’, which some of the maulavis cited as a criticism against MGA. MGA countered and argued that they are not justified in this as I confess that I was mistaken in this. But there is no mistake in the revelation. I am a human being and am subject to human frailties such as mistake and forgetfulness like other human beings, though I know that God does not leave me under the influence of a mistake. I do not, however, claim that I cannot be mistaken in an interpretation Divine revelation is free from mistake but man’s words are not free from the possibility of mistake, because forgetfulness and mistake are essential human characteristics (Ayyamus-Sulah, p. 41, RK, v14, pp. 271–272, see also the 2009 online edition of the Tadhkira).
In 1908 (Jan), the Al-Badr of Jan-9-1908 reports that MGA was asked about why he was sent to the world, MGA responded that he was sent to kill one prophet (Eisa [as]) and to kill Satan (See also Malfuzat Vol. 5-Urdu, page 398, 1988 edition and Malfuzat-10-English, online edition, pages 73-74). Bro Imtiaz confirmed this herein. In terms of killing Satan, MGA alleged that no prophet before him was able to do this, however, he (MGA) will. Nevertheless, MGA totally failed, since 125 years later, Satan is still running around unabated. MGA also quoted 3:55 (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) and argued that his followers would be made superior to all other people on Earth.
In 1908 (Oct), after MGA died, in Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya Vol. 5, MGA and his team of writers quoted 3:55 of the Quran (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) 14 times and made various arguments. MGA disrespectfully rearranged 3:55 of the Quran (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) and made a mockery of the belief of Ibn Abbas, i.e., that the verse doesn’t indicate sequence (See page 467-470). MGA and his team of writers also argued that 3:55 of the Quran (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran) meant that it had the hint that Allah would save MGA from being killed or crucified. It is obvious that many efforts were made to get me killed or crucified and the ulema of the [Muslim] nation issued edicts for my murder. A false case was also made against me to get me hanged, in which Dr. Martyn Clark was the plaintiff, and Maulawi Abu Sa‘id Muhammad Husain Batalawi was among the witnesses (See pages 486-487). MGA and his team of writers quoted the famous Zamakhshari and alleged that in his Tafsir Kashshaf he wrote that Eisa (As) died a natural death in terms of 3:55 (3:56 in the Kadiani Koran)(see page 486, 508-509, online English edition). However, this is a lie, Zamakhshari said that Eisa (as) will eventually die a natural death!

Intro
MGA received a revelation back in 1883, which was published in the Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya vol. 4 of 1884 (See page 401, online english edition)(its posted in the below). In this revelation MGA was prefacing his claim of bringing back the Quran after it left Earth. MGA seems to have tried to “produce the like of it” (see 2:23, 2:34 in the Qadiani Quran, 10:38, 10:39 in the Qadiani Quran) and this is big Kufr, however, MGA was making a mockery of Islam and was funded to do so and a dedicated atheist. Also read about how MGA was calling his wahi/ilham as “Kitab ul Mubeen”, which is used to describe the Quran (See 5:15, 5:16 in the Qadiani Quran and 6:59, 6:60 in the Qadiani Quran, 12:1 (12:2 in the Qadiani Quran) and 26:2 (26:3 in the Qadiani Quran) and 28:2 (28:3 in the Qadiani Quran).
In 1883, MGA didn’t clarify as to whose “mouth” this was, he waited 24 years to clarify, and even then he lied (see the Al-Badr ref in the below for 1907).
Nevertheless, in roughly 1900-1902 (while beefing with Pir Mehr Ali Shah), MGA began claiming that only he knew the authenticity of any given hadith. MGA also claimed that he believed in his own wahi that same way that he believes in the Torah, the Gospel and the Holy Quran (See “Arba’in, online English edition, page 159). Thus, MGA was declaring repeatedly that his God had sent him as the Promised Messiah and has informed him which particular hadith is authentic and which hadith is not, and He has bestowed on him the correct understanding of the Holy Quran, then why should he engage with these people? In 1902, via “A Gift for An-Nadwah”, MGA said the same thing again (See page 15, online english edition).
This is part of MGA’s claim of God which he kept denying and masking and is a rip off of the Bahai’s. Nevertheless, in 1907, MGA was claiming that this wasn’t his mouth, but the mouth of Allah, which proves that MGA believed that his God had body parts. Intro
Lodewijk Verhagen is an important man in Qadiani-Ahmadiyya. He is listed as the Chair of the 8 trustees of The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat International (AMJI), which is the umbrella charity which manages the global operations of the Mirza family.
Lodewijk Verhagen seems to be his legal name whereas Hibbatunoer Verhagen is his unofficial name. Hibbatunoer Verhagen is a long time member of the Ahmadiyya Movement in the Netherlands. You can see him here at the 2016 Jalsa in Holland. In 2019, he can be seen inaugurating an Ahmadiyya temple in Holland.
