MGA and Noorudin played with opium their entire lives. They took medicines that had soooooo much opium in them that a human isn’t capable of leading salaat, doing public speeches or any other things…in fact, MGA was sooooo high, he would sit in his room all day and do nothing…..this is why he was always sitting around aimlessly. In fact, MGA had soooo many digestive problems as a result of eating opium that he was forced to keep many bathroom attendants, who would tend to MGA all day and all night, they would clean up MGA’s feces and piss and then clean MGA, as we all know, MGA’s right arm was broken since he was a child, he thus couldn’t even clean himself after his sloppy excretions. Remember, MGA never admitted to taking opium in medicines in his entire life, in fact, he denied using it for diabetes in 1903. However, after MGA died, his sons told the world that MGA took an opium based on viagra type of drug (1923) and was cured of impotency and thus had 10+ additional children. They also told us that Tiryaq e Ilahi had a majority of Opium in it (see the Al-fazl of 1929).
Further, it should be noted that MGA was charging 2000-2500 rupees for his plague medicine (Tiryaq-e-ilahi).
In 1929, the Khalifa told the world that Tiryaq e Ilahi had a majority of opium in it. This was a secret for 30 years.
- Hazrat Maseeh Mow’ood prepared a medicine ‘TIRYAQ-e-ILAHI’ under instructions from God and its one of the main constituent was OPIUM and Huzoor (Mirza Ghulam) gave this medicine, with a little more addition of Opium, to Hazrat Khalifa Awwal (Hakeem Nuruddin, the 1st Successor of Mirza Ghulam) for more than 6 months and off and on, and he used it himself as well during the attacks of various illnesses.”

23 July 1898: The plague was claiming lives in most parts of the Indian subcontinent. This was a matchless heavenly sign shown in favour of the Promised Messiahas. But out of his sheer love and compassion for humankind, he announced on this day that everyone should repent to God and that a precautionary medicine had been prepared for plague patients. It was named “Tiryaq-i-Ilahi” (Divine cure), because the main ingredients of this medicine were inspired to Huzooras by God Almighty. This indigenous medicine cost 2500 rupees. Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddinra bore a major part and donated one premium and precious part of this medicine worth 2,000 rupees.
Malfuzat, Volume 10, pg. 287
On 2 May 1908 he expressed his displeasure on the declining cases of the plague. He said:
“This year the cases of plague are relatively lower. This is not a source of happiness, as people did not benefit from the Plague. The purpose of the spread of Plague is not yet fulfilled.”
assigned himself the task of creating a cure for the Bubonic Plague while declaring it to be a sign of his Messianic claims. At a cost of more than Rs. 2000, here is the recipe for the cure, together with its roots supposedly going all the way back to the ointment that was applied on Jesus’ wounds.
( <This pamphlet seems to have been lost by Ahmadiyya Sources, however it was recovered and posted in the pdf)
“God reveals by direct inspiration the specific remedy of the evil to some of his chosen people, who connections with him are most sincere. In this age almighty God has been pleased to choose me to perform this function. The cure which I proclaim for the plague consists of 2 different medicines. One of them called the Tiryaq i ilahi or the Divine treacle”
Mirza Sb claims God chose him to create this medicine to save Punjab, and that it was directly inspired to him through the divine then claims it healed Jesus after the crucifixion as well
See Page 42 ^^
“for sale by Ahmad as a miraculous remedy for the plague, prepared solely under the influence of divine inspiration” This remedy dissappeared from the market as the result of an order issued the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, dated 19th October, 1899, followed by the decision of the Chief Court of the Panjab in the appealed case, dated 8th June, 1900″
So Mirza Sahib said this was prepared under divine inspiration, however academics have dismissed his medicine as a fraud, thus the government had to intervene and tell them to stop selling it so Tiryaq E Ilahi was taken out of the market totally inspired by an all knowing God right
Review in Lancet, 1898
“Then follows a lot of gibberish about the dosage of the “divine treacle,” and at the end are placed half-a-dozen common-sense regulations as to domestic hygiene in the presence of infectious disease. The shrewdness which led Mirza Ghulam Ahmad to combine simple sanitary suggestions, bound to do good if followed, with the xxxxxxxxx from which we have quoted leads us to suspect him of being a designing scamp and not merely a blasphemous idiot. We note that he is receiving subscriptions.”
The Ingredients of Tiryaq E Ilahi
“Opium is used so extensively used in medicines that Hazrat Maseeh Maud (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) used to say that in the eyes of some Hakeems (Doctors) Opium is half the medicine. Thus to use Opium alongwith other medicines as a medicament and not as an intoxicant is not in any way objectionable. All of us have knowingly or unknowingly used Opium at one time or another…. Hazrat Maseeh Mow’ood prepared a medicine ‘Tiryaq-e-ilahi’ under instructions from God and its one of the main constituent was opium and Huzoor (MGA) gave this medicine, with a little more addition of Opium, to Hazrat Khalifa Awwal (KM1) for more than 6 months and off and on used himself as well during the attacks of various illnesses.”

For the so called Messiah to create such a useless medicine and then directly attribute it to God is downright irresponsible, and only proves that he was a false claimant to divine scholarship, this explains the mentality of the Khalifa’s today where they suggest placebo homeopathic remedies to cure ailments.
