Who is Shaikh Bashir Ahmad?

Intro
He was an Ahmadi lawyer (also spelled as Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, and living in Lahore), in 1931, the Khalifa, Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad and the All-India Kashmir Committee (AIKC) sent him to Kashmir to fight legal cases in support of the local Kashmiri-Muslims, stemming from the famous riots of July, 1931. On the 24th of Sep. and per the order of the Khalifa, who was also the President of the All India Kashmir Committee. A few years later he became a High Court Justice in Lahore, British-India (See Khan “The construction of the Ahmadiyya Identity”). Some other Ahmadi lawyers who were sent to Kashmir are as follows, Chauhdry Muhammad Yusuf Khan, Shaykh Muhammad Ahmad Mazhar and Chauhdry Asadullah Khan (the younger brother of Zafrulla Khan), and several others. Remarkably, Dost Muhammad Shahid has recorded the details of hundreds of such cases that were acquitted or overturned due to the efforts of the AIKC’s legal team and counsel throughout the early 1930’s (See Khan “The construction of the Ahmadiyya Identity”).

In 1947, per the order of his Khalifa, he presented Ahmadiyya as non-Muslims to the Punjab Boundary Commission, thus, the Gurdaspur district was given to India, Kashmir was also lost. His name is also spelled as Sheikh Bashir Ahmad.

The Civil and Military Gazette (of Dec-19-1949) reports that in terms of the Radcliffe Commission, the Qadiani-Ahmadi lawyers (Shaikh Bashir Ahmad and Zafrullah Khan), Qadiani’s wanted Gurdaspur to be a Qadiani state and not given to either Pakistan or India.

Who is Molvi Abdur Rahim of Kashmir?

Intro
He was the son of Molvi Abdullah Wakil. He was born in 1907. He was arrested in 1931, at age 24, with Shaikh Abdullah and another Ahmadi, Ghulam Nabi Gilkar. His father Molvi Abdullah Wakil was an Ahmadi, however, by the time he died, he was a Bahai, its all a big mystery. Thus, we are unsure if Molvi Abdur Rahim was an Ahmadi or not. In 1934, he was appointed as a judge by Maharaja Hari Singh. His death is totally unknown. His name is sometimes listed as Molvi Abdul Rahim.

Page from Civil List of 1945 shows at Sr. No 5 that Abdur Rahim(Molvi Abdul Rahim in photograph at left) one of the leaders of the 1931 agitation was appointed as a judge by the Maharaja in 1934.This proves that the agitation was for democratic reforms and not directed against the Maharaja. Even “Naya Kashmir” memorandum envisages a constitutional monarchy with the Maharaja as the head of State

Scanned picture of notes on the margin of Kant’s “Prolegmena” written by Molvi Abdul Rahim. The leaders of the 1931 agitation were Avant Garde lawyers and philosophers like Molvi Abdul Rahim M.A.(Phil)LL.B and scientists like Sheikh Abdullah M.Sc.(Chemistry). The agitation was for political and social empowerment for the subjugated majority( 80% of the subjects happened to be Muslims) of a feudal State and had no religious underpinnings or bias.(See Pandit Gwash Lal’s Clarion Call in Talk:Naya Kashmir)That is why the name of Muslim Conference was later changed to National Conference. The scanned pages are from a copy of the book belonging to Molvi Abdul Rahim which is in my possession.

Roza Bal and Yuz Asaf

Intro
The Roza Bal or Rouza Bal or Rozabal is a shrine located in the Khanyar quarter in downtown area of Srinagar in Kashmir, India. The word roza means tomb, the word bal mean place. Locals believe a sage is buried here, Yuzasaf or Yuz Asaf (or Youza Asouph), alongside another Muslim holy man, Mir Sayyid Naseeruddin.

The shrine was relatively unknown until the founder of the Ahmadiyya movement, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, claimed in 1899 that it is actually the tomb of Jesus. This view is maintained by Ahmadis today, though it is rejected by the local Sunni caretakers of the shrine, one of whom said “the theory that Jesus is buried anywhere on the face of the earth is blasphemous to Islam.”

Who is Khwaja Nazir Ahmad (1897–1970)?

Intro
Khwaja Nazir Ahmad was the son of the famous Lahori-Ahmadi and MGA’s personal lawyer, Khwaja Kamal ud Din.

In 1924, the Qadiani-Ahmadi denigrated the son of Khwaja Kamaluddin (Khwaja Nazir Ahmad), they called him a non-Ahmadi and the Imam of the Woking Mosque (See the Al Fazl, 4 April 1924).

In the 1930’s, Khwaja Nazir Ahmad’s uncle was Khwaja Jamal ud Din, who worked in Jammu on behalf of the British government from at least 1905 to the 1930’s.

In 1935, in the Islamic Review (Lahori-Ahmadi newspaper) of March-1935, prominent Lahori-Ahmadi’s like Khwaja Nazir Ahmad (Vice President of the “Woking Muslim Mission and Literary Trust”, member of the “Board of Trustees” and member of the “Management Committee of the Trust”) told the world that they were not the “Qadiani’s”, nor were they “Ahmadi’s”, they told the world that they believe Muhammad (saw) to be the Final prophet and consider any new claimant of prophethood as outside of Islam (see page 81). Abdul Majid is listed as the “Imam of the Shah Jehan Mosque, Woking, England”. Aftab-ud-Din is listed as the “Acting Imam of the Shah Jehan Mosque, Woking, England”. Khwaja Abdul Ghani is listed as “Secretary of the “Woking Muslim Mission and Literary Trust”.

In 1952, Khwaja Nazir Ahmad wrote the famous, “Jesus in Heaven on Earth” (1952) which was published from the Woking, UK and Lahore, Pakistan. It immediately banned by the governor of the Punjab in April of 1953, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s then won a court case and got it re-published in Pakistan in 1956 (see the foreward).

In the 1990’s, a famous professor (Pappas) accused Ahmadi’s and specifically Khwaja Nazir Ahmad  and his famous book of academic dishonesty. Academic reception of all Ahmadi’s who conducted research works has been highly critical – academics dismissing these claims includes Günter GrönboldWilhelm SchneemelcherNorbert KlattPer Beskow, and Gerald O’Collins.

Who is Yusuf Shah, the head imam (Mirwaiz) of the Kashmir Valley in 1931 and his interactions with Ahmadi’s

Intro
Mirwaiz Muhammad Yusuf Shah (19 February 1894 – 12 December 1968) was a mirwaiz of Kashmir. He also served as a President of Azad Kashmir. The Mirwaiz was a title given to the head Islamic imam of Kashmir going back at least 500 years. Yusuf Shah was born on 13 Shaban 1311 Hijri (19 February 1894) at Rajauri to Ghulam Rasool Shah.[1] In 1925, Shah started his education with Darul Uloom Deoband, where he was taught the ahadith by Anwar Shah Kashmiri. In 1931, he succeeded Attiqullah as the mirwaiz of Kashmir. In 1968 when he died, he was succeeded by his nephew Mirwaiz Maulvi Farooq who had been his deputy since 1961.[2]

1931, April 3rd
His uncle, the Mirwaiz Maulana Ahmad-ullah passes away, he was the Mirwaiz of Kashmir for many years. Ahmad-ullah had always been pro-Mahajara rule. Yusuf Shah is chosen as the next Mirwaiz, he is not Pro-Maharaja.

1931, 25 July
Without the support of Yusuf Shah, the Lahore based All-India Muslim Kashmir Conference held a meeting in Shimla at the house of Sir Muhammad Zulfiqar ‘Ali Khan(Who was the brother-in-law of the Khalifa), to determine their course of action. Many notable dignitaries were present, including Sir Muhammad Iqbal, Sir Mian Fazl-i Husain, (the Nawab of Malerkotla) Sir Muhammad Zulfiqar ‘Ali Khan(Who was the brother-in-law of the Khalifa), (Shams a l-‘Ulama) Khwaja Hasan Nizami of Delhi, Khan Bahadur Shaykh Rahim Bakhsh, and several other Nawabs, a Deobandi professor, and high ranking administrators from both the Siyasat and Muslim Outlook newspapers. On Iqbal’s nomination, the members unanimously agreed that Mirza Bashir al-Din Mahmud Ahmad should become president, with ‘Abd al-Rahim Dard as his secretary, of what they called the All-India Kashmir Committee (AIKC)(see Dost Muhammad Shahid, Tarikh-i Ahmadiyya, Vol. 5, pp. 415-416, has his account of the committee’s formation and pp. 419-421, has the full list of members)(See Khan “The construction of the Ahmadiyya Identity”).

1931, Oct and November
IOR R/1/1/2164 in Fortnightly Report for the second half of October 1931 from the Resident of
Kashmir, F.9-C/30 (3 November 1931); see also IOR R/1/1/2531 in File No. 91 -Political (17 January 1934), in which a warning was sent to B. J. Glancy of the Glancy Commission cautioning that Shaykh ‘Abdullah is an Ahmadi even though he may say that he is not. The conclusion expressed in the file was that the authenticity of the source was dubious and likely to be linked to the opposition (i.e. the Ahrar), who were threatening to publish the fraudulent letter when ‘it suits them ’, as was repeatedly the case throughout Shaykh ‘Abdullah’s career. It is surprising that his affiliations with Jama‘at-i Ahmadiyya were persistently an issue with the Darbar as late as 1934, even though both Ahmadi officials and Shaykh ‘Abdullah himself consistently denied his religious commitment to the community(See Khan “The construction of the Ahmadiyya Identity”).

1932
After totally falling out with the Qadiani’s, Yusuf Shah along with Sheikh Abdullah and Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas founded the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference to oppose the king Maharaja Hari Singh‘s rule.[3] However, after a year, conflicts occurred between Abdullah and Yusuf Shah. In order to expand the group, Abdullah wanted to allow people of other religions to join it. This was opposed by Yusuf Shah who felt that he was “betraying the cause of the Muslims”. On 30 January 1932, Mirwaiz Yusuf Shah delivered a sermon at Khanqah-e-Naqshbandia in which he accused Shaikh Abdullah of being a Qadiani. Everyone knew that I (Shaikh Abdullah) was a Sunni, of the Hanafi sect. This event took place in the dead of winter when most Kashmiris do not leave their houses without their kartgris [braziers]. During the altercations which followed his allegation, these kangris were freely used as trajectories, injuring a number of people (Sheikh Abdullah, Flames of the Chinar, p. 39).

Consequently, Abdullah founded the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference. However the Muslims of Kashmir felt that it was a representative body of the Indian National Congress.[3]

As a result, under the leadership of Yusuf Shah, Muslim Conference entered into an alliance with the All India Muslim League and in July 1947, the party passed a resolution demanding the accession of the state of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan based on “geographic, economic, linguistic, cultural and religious conditions”.[3]

August of 1947
Yusuf Shah went to exile in Azad Kashmir.[4] He has also been the president of Azad Kashmir twice, once in 1952 and another in 1956.[1] He also served in the ministry of education.[4]

1968
On 12 December 1968 (17 Ramzan), Yusuf Shah died at Rawalpindi.[4]

Mirwaiz Yousuf Shah : His Life And Times

The Ahmadiyyah movement and Akhir Al Zaman By Sheikh Imran Hosein

Intro
This is a new video by a Trinidadian-imam. His family is of Indian origin, his ancestors moved to the America’s 200-300 years ago. Hosein was born into an Indo-Trinidadian family Trinidad and Tobago.[4] There is an Ahmadiyya presence in Trinidad and Tobago, lots of Lahori-Ahmadi’s also.  He studied Islam under the guidance of the Islamic scholar, Muhammad Fazlur Rahman Ansari at the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies, Karachi, Pakistan. He also did post-graduate studies in Philosophy at Karachi University, and International Relations at the University of West Indies, Trinidad, and the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva, Switzerland.[5] He led the weekly Jumu’ah prayers and delivered the sermon at the United Nations headquarters in Manhattan once a month for ten years.[6]

Hosein has suggested that Muslims should ally themselves with Russia.[7][8]

Who is Khalifa Noorudin Jamooni?

Intro
Khalifa Noorudin Jamooni was born a Muslim in 1847, he died 95 years later on 9-2-1942 (see Dard, page 684 and Al-Hakam archives). He converted to Ahmadiyya very early on, he is mentioned as companion #164 on MGA’s list of the first 313 Ahmadi’s of 1896 (See Dard). He seems to have worked with the famous Ahmadi and later 1st Khalifa, Maulvi Hakeem Noorudin while they were in Jammu, this was 1874 (per Tarikh i Ahmadiyya), in fact, he was Maulvi Noorudin’s student in 1874(see “Hakeem Noor-ud-Deen The Way of the Righteous”, online english edition, page 150), even though they were the same age. They worked together until the death of Ranbir Singh, or a few years after that until 1889. Many of Noorudin’s students were working with MGA at Qadian by 1891, a few notables are Mufti Muhammad Sadiq, Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti, and many others as they wrote for MGA and led prayers. In 1888, when Noorudin fell sick in Jammu, MGA visited Jammu and stayed in the house of Khalifa nur-ud-Din (In the Company of the Promised Messiah, page 3).

In December of 1891, he attended the first Ahmadi Jalsa at Qadian, his name was thus written by MGA in his book, “Nishan Asmani” (1892). Nevertheless, by 1899, he was the main character and close friend and eventual witness as MGA introduced the idea that the prophet Jesus=Yuz Asaf (see Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyya). In a Friday Sermon in 2012, Mirza Masroor Ahmad relates how Khalifa Nur-ud-Din went to Srinagar in Kashmir and collected 560 signatures from scholars proving that Esa (as)= Yuz Asaf. However, this was a lie, and the list never appeared. After 1900, he is mentioned in Nuzul ul Masih (which was published in 1909) as he wished to move to Qadian when the plague broke out in Jammu. In 1902, via “Al-Huda Wa-Tabsirato Liman Yara”, MGA and his team of writers even gave 72 names of people (see at the 20:15) mark from Mohalla Khanyar in Kashmir alleging that they were attesting that Yuz Asaf= Eisa (As). They claimed that Khalifa Nur ud Din had 72 witnesses and even wrote their names who were supposedly testifying that Yuz Asaf= Eisa (as).

By 2020, we have figured out exactly how MGA and his team of writers/reciters fabricated this entire story. As we all know, MGA and his team of writers/editors lied about almost everything they did. We have fodn a huge case of academic dishonesty in terms of MGA’s quotations to a persian book, “Ayn-ul-Hayat”. MGA and his team first quoted this book in 1898, in a book called ‘Raz-e-Haqiqat”, which was translated and published into english in 2016, see page 24. However, they were academically dishonest, they purposely didn’t mention that Yuz Asaf had a father and many other things, an Ex-Ahmadi, Shams ud Din, recently got a hold of Ayn ul Hayat and posted his results in a video, make sure you watch Part-2 also, these are in Urdu and watch part 3. We have also found “Ayn ul Hayat” and have posted the PDF’s in the below. This book proves that MGA totally lied. Shams ud Din found the book “Rahul ul Hayat” by Allama Muhammad Bakir, there is an urdu translation called, “Ainul Hayat”. On page 361, it is written that Yuz Asaf had a father in Kashmir.
