The history of #Ahmadiyya in #Oman

Intro
In 1958, via the book, “Our Foreign Missions” 1961 edition, by Mirza Mubarak Ahmad, grandson of MGA, the Ahmadiyya Movement alleged that there was a mission in Oman (Muscat), and that it was getting literature from Syria. Oman is also mentioned in the ROR of April-1934 as having been a place where Ahmadiyya has spread to the locals.

By 2008, there are no Ahmadi’s in #Oman and no missionaries.

In 1934, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s were brown-nosing the Viceroy and Governor-General of India, Freeman Freeman-Thomas, 1st Marquess of Willingdon

Intro
In 1934, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s sent a delegation of people to meet and greet Viceroy and Governor-General of India, Freeman Freeman-Thomas, 1st Marquess of Willingdon. As is usual by the Mirza family, they presented the Governor General with a document which explained how Ahmadi’s were the most loyal subjects in all of the British Empire (see ROR of April-1934). In this document, the Ahmadi’s of Qadian are claiming that Ahmadiyya has spread to Afghanistan, Iran (Persia), Russia, Mesopotamia, Muscat, the Hedjaz, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Algiers, Ceylon, The Straits Settlements, Mauritius, China, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, the Philippines, New Guinea, Trinidad, Fiji, Brazil, the USA, South Africa, Tanganyika (Tanzania), Kenya, Uganda, Zanzibar, Sierra Leone, Gold Coast aka Ghana, Nigeria and England. The ROR argued that local people from these British colonies had converted.

In 1935, the 2nd Khalifa wanted a Mubahila duel with Syed Ata Ullah Shah Bukhari

Intro
It should be noted that on June 6th, 1935, Justice Khosla accepted the appeal filed by the legal team of Syed Ata Ullah Shah Bukhari, and thus reduced his 6 months sentence to 0 days. His youngest brother, Mirza Sharif Ahmad was also attacked in this era (See ROR of Nov-1935), thus proving that maybe the Ahmadiyya Community might fall out and break with the British Government (via his Friday Sermon of July 25, 1935). The 2nd Khalifa blamed British officials in the Punjab and not the British government and gave many examples. The 2nd Khalifa mentions Dr. Clark and his case, and the intervention of Captain Douglas, who saved MGA from getting arrested. The 2nd Khalifa then mentions how M.F. O’Dwyer (Lieutenant Governor of PunjabBritish India, between 1913 and 1919) spoke to the 2nd Khalifa in a harsh tone and was at once transferred out of India.

The ROR of Oct-1935 has a Friday sermon by the 2nd Khalifa of Aug-30-1935 wherein the 2nd Khalifa discusses Ahmadiyya beliefs on prophethood and then abruptly challenges Syed Ata Ullah Shah Bukhari to a Mubahila prayer duel. The 2nd Khalifa then mentions how the Ahrar leaders were spreading an argument that Ahmadi’s didn’t care about the Kaaba and cared more for Qadian.

Shamsi rips a Qadiani-Ahmadi and their silly arguments

Intro
Brother Shamsi with CCDawah recently had discussion with a Qadiani-Ahmadi, this was posted on the DUS Dawah channel. Brother Shamsi brought up the fact that Allah said he raised Eisa (as) towards him (see 4:158 of the Quran), you can view the clip on tik tok herein. The Qadiani-Ahmadi responded per his script that Allah is everywhere. Shamsi disagreed and reminded the Qadiani-Ahmadi that Allah is in Jannah and Eisa (As) is in the samaa wattay. 4:158 means that Allah lifted Eisa (As) out of trouble and to the Samaa Wattay. They also discussed 5:117. The Qadiani even said that Allah could be in his pocket (astagfarullah). Interestingly, the Qadiani didn’t know about the Qiraat and the different readings of Khatam in 33:40. Shamsi also quoted 20:17 of the Quran to prove that Allah asks questions and already knows the answers, this was in reference to the stick of Moses.

The “”dhurriyyatul baghaya”” insult was discussed in detail in the ROR of March-1935

Intro
We have found a new reference in terms of the famous insult that MGA gave to all Muslims who rejected him in 1893: “”dhurriyyatul baghaya””. It comes from the ROR of March-1935. In early 1935, K. L. Gauba proposed to put the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s on the stand in a case with the Punjab Assembly. The case would revolved around MGA’s insults to Muslims, specifically, the Zurrayatul Baghaya quote. The National League at Qadian responded in the ROR of March 1935 and explained that MGA didn’t mean children of prostitutes, instead they allege that MGA meant, “Children, followers and supporters”=Zurrayatul  and Baghaya meant “Slave girls, immoral women and the advance guard of an army”. They go to allege that this quote meant “followers of the vanguard of the party which was out to crush the Ahmadiyya Movement”, or as “low and ill mannered people like the children of bondwomen”.

In 1891, in Ludhiana, MGA had a written debate with Batalvi and Maulvi Saadulah and a few others. This was MGA and his teams second written debate of their careers, MGA never had any oral debates. In 1892-1893, he used the term “Zurrayatul Baghaya” (children of prostitutes) as he described in Arabic those who had rejected his claims of Messiah-ship (See A’ina-e-Kamalat-e-Islam). It should be remembered that there were barely 300 Ahmadi’s in those days. He even wrote out 1000 “lanaats” in 1894 as he was raging out of control in Nurul Haq, Nur ul Haq was an Arabic only book,  there seems to have also been an urdu translation given with the original book. Our Arabic ex-Ahmadi friends like Hani Tahir and Ikrima Najami have been going through MGA’s arabic books and giving us some quotes which have never been given to the world ever before. These quotes are vulgar, you have been warned. Some other publications are also quoted. Additional quotes from Nurul-Haq can be found here. MGA also called his opponents’ women as bitches in 1898 in Najmul Huda (in a poem). It seems that in 1897, MGA and his team called Sa’dullah as a son of prostitutes. MGA also discussed the insult “Zurrayatul Baghaya” in his book “Khutbah ilhamiya”. In terms of the Quran, the word Baghaya was used in the Quran twice, once in 19:20 and once in 19:28. In both cases, these are loose women or it could be used as prostitutes.

However, after Sa’dullah died in 1907, MGA refused to even mention that part of his poetry from 10 years earlier. Interestingly enough, Mirza Bashir Ahmad tells us that Muhammad Ali ( one of MGA’s lawyer’s and employees) told MGA not to mention how he had called Sa’dullah as the son of prostitutes, since Muhammad Ali feared legal recourse. This would be defamation, MGA had narrowly escaped a defamation case in 1904, Dard tells us it was Khwaja Kamaluddin and not Muhammad Ali however. However, by 1935, Mirza Bashir Ahmad said: The lawyer was Khwajah Kamal-ud-Din. In al-Hakam, volume 38, number 7, February 28, 1935, pages 3–4, narrating the eye-witness accounts of Maulavi Muhammad Ibrahim Baqapuri (see the 2009 online edition of Tadhkirah). We have recently found an old urdu book by Ahmadiyya writers which specifically discusses this issue. In 1907, MGA and his team of ghost writers issued a clarification on the word Ibn Bagha or “Zarrayatul baghaya”. They were scared of a legal case against MGA via defamation. Thus, MGA’s team issued a correction via Al-Hakam Volume 11, page 7 (February 1907). I found it on the old thecult.info message boards,  See page 3, about half way down the page. The MTA team also gave the same explanation, i.e., that MGA only meant “an arrogant person” when he used these words.

This quote was mentioned in 1935 in the famous “Khosla judgement” and again by Justice Coldstream as the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s wanted this word expunged from the records, which the judge refused to do.

The National League at Qadian, British-India, 1930’s

Intro
There appears to be some political organization from, owned and operated by Qadiani-Ahmadi’s. They appear in the ROR of March-1935 with Sufi Abdul Qadeer as the president. They responded to K. L. Gauba in the same ROR and specifically in terms of the Zurrayatul Baghaya quote.

A few months later, Sufi Abdul Qadeer was sent to Japan as the first ever missionary sent to Japan, he returned in 1941 with the outbreak of WW-2. He arrived in Japan on June 4, 1935, which means he must have left India by early May-1935.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad said that Life Insurance was like gambling

Intro
In the USA, many Ahmadi’s have life insurance policies on their parents and children (this is from personal experience). However, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was against life insurance and even equated to gambling (See Malfuzat-10, 2022 online english edition, page 195-196. Will Ahmadi’s listen? Some Ahmadi’s have made millions via life insurance, some have made money via liquor being sold. Ahmadi’s don’t care, nevertheless, the data is posted. The same topic is discussed in the ROR of April-1935, the ROR of July-1933, Aug-1933, Sep-1933 and Feb-1936.
