Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was given free reign by the British Government to make the wildest claims. We know he claimed to be the 2nd coming of Adam (as), Jesus (as), and Muhammad (Saw)(nauzobillah). However, MGA also claimed to be the second coming of Ibrahim (as) and Moses (as). In 1900, MGA was claiming that 20 years ago, his god named him Ibrahim (as)(nauzobillah), however, we haven’t found that reference as of yet.

In 1891, when MGA made the claim of being the Promised Messiah, he quoted 5:75 (5:76) and argued that this particular verse proved that ALL prophets/messengers of Allah had died.
MGA made this argument in Izala Auham, which appeared in the Summer of 1891. A similar verse and line of argumentation is found in 3:144 (3:145) in the Qadiani Quran numbering system). In fact, 3:144 proves that prophets can be killed, this was common, in fact, it appears 10 times in the quran. In the Izala Auham of 1891, MGA used 5:75 and argued that it said specifically that Esa (As) and his mother used to eat food (see pages 8-9), which per MGA proves that they are dead. MGA didn’t harp on the “Qad Khalat” part, which is similar to the phraseology in 3:144. However, MGA is incorrect, the phrase “they used to eat food” (kana ya’kulani), is only used to prove that they were human while on Earth and thus needed food to survive. While Esa (as) is in heaven, he may not need any food, since food is not required for survival in JANNAH, food is only eaten for sport and taste. We didn’t find MGA and his team of writers using this argument after 1891, the last time it appears is after MGA died, in the BA5.
In MGA’s famous debate with Athim in 1893 (See “Holy War”, online English edition, pages 12-13). MGA argued that “khallat” didn’t mean death and the word ALL was not in this verse (5:75 and 3:144).
In “Shahadatul-Quran” (1893)(online english edition from the Lahori-Ahmadi’s) MGA quoted 77:11 of the Quran and argued that “Ar-Rusulu” had a singular connotation and referred to himself (MGA)as the Promised Messiah. Thus contradicting his previous stance that Ar-rusulu meant ALL. Ar-rusulu also occurs in 23:51, as Allah does refer to ALL in this verse. 41:14 is another instance, also see 12:110, see also 13:38, 5:70 and 22:75.
Interestingly, MGA’s brother-in-lw, Mir Muhammad Ishaq translated 5:75 as “Many” and not ALL. Check out Al-Tabari on 5:75 and 3:144. Lisan Al-Arab also tells us that the main meanings of Qad Khallat is to leave a place.
In 2025, check out Brother Omar explaining how Ahmadi’s translate of “Al-Rusul” in 3:144 is different from “Al-Rusul” in 5:75 (See the clip on TikTok and Twitter), in fact, Zafrullah Khan gave the same translation in his version of the Quran.

Most Ahmadi’s haven’t read enough to understand MGA’s prophethood. In the BA1-2, which was published in 1880, MGA was indirectly claiming prophethood. In fact, in the BA2 (see page 118), MGA quoted 18:109 (18:110, in the Ahmadi quran)(see also 31:27, the verse is identical) and says that “”Say, ‘If the ocean became ink for the words of my Lord, surely, the ocean would be exhausted before the words of my Lord came to an end, even though We brought the like thereof as further help.’. Thus, MGA was arguing from the Quran that Allah will continue talking (prophethood) to Muslims until the Day of Judgement and this Islam was superior to all other religions.
In BA-3 (See page 157), MGA quoted 9:32 and was discreetly claiming prophethood for himself. In fact, MGA’s first argument in the BA was that of the continuation of divine revelation, however, MGA wasn’t being clear (it was supposed to be 300 arguments). Many ulema responded by sending fatwa’s of Takfir in 1884. This was quoted again by MGA in 1901 via “Eik Ghalti Ka Izala” (See page 2, online English edition).
Even Nawab Siddiq Hassan Khan tore of the Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya and sent it back to Qadian in that condition, which enraged MGA. MGA was also accused of claiming prophethood by the Ahl-e-Hadith, only Batalvi defended him. I have written a full review of BA3 herein. By 1884, MGA was openly being called a Kafir by most of the Ahl-e-hadith Muslims of North India. Nevertheless, after BA-4 (1884), MGA only published 2 books in 6-7 years (directed at the Hindus, and silent on his prophethood). He did publish the green announcement (sabz ishtihar) in 1888 wherein he argued that the prophecies of prophets and messengers failed all the time (or were misunderstood), thus, his failed prophecy (about the Musleh Maud) was common for prophets and messengers.
In 1890, via Izala Auham, MGA and his team of writers alleged that for the coming Messiah, the condition of prophethood is not necessary by Muhammad (saw)(naozobillah)(See Izala Auham, RK-3, page 59 and Bro Imtiaz, 3:15:13)(See also Izala Auham, part 1 RK, V-3 page 249).
In 1891, as MGA claimed to be the Messiah, he denied prophethood (See Elucidation of Objectives, pages 9-10, and via Muhammad Ali, Prophethood in Islam, 1915 edition). MGA denied prophethood an additional 40+ times in subsequent books from 1891 to 1901.
MGA also quoted the famous hadith from Sahih Muslim wherein Eisa (as) has repeatedly been called “Nabi-Ullah” and called it fabricated.
In 1900, via his book Arba’in, MGA alleged that his followers were already calling him as (SAW)(or a version of it) and that this wasn’t objectionable (see page 12). Then, on page 133-134, MGA claims to be a law-bearing prophet in a strange way.
On Nov-5-1901, MGA and his team of writers published “Eik Ghalti Ka Izala” and thus, the official claim of prophethood was made.
In the Al-Hakam of Nov-30-1901, after the publishing of “Eik Ghalti Ka Izala”), MGA alleged that he was Muhammad (Saw)(naozobillah), and since Muhammad (Saw) has come again, that doesn’t mean a new prophet showed up (via Malfuzat-Urdu, page 375 and Al-Hakam, vol. 5, no. 44, 30 November 1901, pp. 1-4, via Malfuzat-4-English, pages 102-106).

Per the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s, from 1891 to 1901, MGA specifically argued that Esa (as) was supposed to return as a non-prophet (muhaddath aka metaphoric prophet)(see “Haqiqatun Nubuwwat”, [1915])(See also “Taudih-e-Maram”, 1891, online English Edition, see pages 15-16). In this era, MGA quoted 4:64 and claimed that prophets only follow Allah and not other others. The Lahori-Ahmadi’s claim that MGA never changed his position on prophethood and thus, even in 2020, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s believe that the return of Esa (as) is that of a non-prophet. In contrast, the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s believe that MGA changed his position on the idea that Esa (as) would only return as a non-prophet (in 1901) and his position on 4:64. MGA’s son, the Khalifa, Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad, claimed in 1915 that MGA discovered a new type of prophethood in 1900-1901, the Ummati-Nabi. Per the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s after 1901, MGA realized that he had been a prophet since 1879 and he (MGA) had misunderstood the concept of the Ummati-Nabi until 1901.

Summary
The following are the collection of Sahih (authentic) Hadith regarding Mahdi.
Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mas’ood razil Allah hu anhu reports from the Prophet ( salullahu alaih wassalam ) , who said:
The world will not come to pass until a man from among my family, whose name will be my name, rules over the Arabs.
(Tirmidhi Sahih, Vol. 9, P. 74; Abu Dawud, Sahih, Vol. 5, P. 207;
also narrated by Ali b. Abi Talib, Abu Sa’id, Umm Salma, Abu Hurayra)
The Prophet ( salullahu alaih wassalam ) said:
Allah will bring out from concealment al-Mahdi from my family and just before the day of Judgment; even if only one day were to remain in the life of the world, and he will spread on this earth justice and equity and will eradicate tyranny and oppression.
(Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Vol. 1, P. 99)
Hadhrat Ali ( razil Allah hu anhu ) narrates that Rasulullah ( salullahu alaih wassalam ) said:
Even if only a day remains for Qiyamah to come, yet Allah will surely send a man from my family who will fill this world with such justice and fairness, just as it initially was filled with oppression.
(Abu Dawood)
Ali b. Abi Talib ( razil Allah hu anhu ) has related a tradition from the Prophet (salullahu alaih wassalam) who informed him:
The promised Mahdi will be among my family. God will make the provisions for his emergence within a single night.
(Ibn Majah, Sahih, Vol. 2, P. 519)
Hazrat Umme Salmah ( razil Allah hu anhu ) , Prophet’s wife, narrates that she heard the Prophet ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) say:
The promised Mahdi will be among my progeny, among the descendants of Fatima.
(Abu Dawud, Sahih, Vol. 2, P. 207; Ibn Majah, Sahih, Vol. 2, P. 519)
Rasulullah ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) announced:
The Mahdi will be of my family, of the descendants of Fatima (the Prophet’s daughter). (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 2, Tradition No. 4086)
The Prophet ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) taught:
Al-Mahdi is one of us, the members of the household (Ahlul-Bayt).
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 2, Tradition No. 4085)
Abu Sa’id al-Khudari ( razil Allah hu anhu ) narrated that the Prophet ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) said:
Our Mahdi will have a broad forehead and a pointed (prominent) nose. He will fill the earth with justice as it is filled with injustice and tyranny. He will rule for seven years.
(Abu Dawud, Sahih, Vol. 2, p. 208; Fusul al-muhimma, p. 275)
Hadhrat Abu Saeed Khudri ( razil Allah hu anhu ) relates that Rasulullah ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) said:
Al Mahdi will be from my progeny. His forehead will be broad and his nose will be high. He will fill the world with justice and fairness at a time when the world will be filled with oppression. He will rule for seven years.
Hadhrat Umme Salmah ( razil Allah hu anhu ) narrates that Rasulullah ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) said:
After the death of a Ruler there will be some dispute between the people. At that time a citizen of Madina will flee (from Madina) and go to Makkah. While in Makkah, certain people will approach him between Hajrul Aswad and Maqaame Ibraheem, and forcefully pledge their allegiance to him.
Thereafter a huge army will proceed from Syria to attack him but when they will be at Baida, which is between Makkah and Madina, they will be swallowed into the ground.
On seeing this, the Abdaals of Shaam as well as large numbers of people from Iraq will come to him and pledge their allegiance to him. Then a person from the Quraish, whose uncle will be from the Bani Kalb tribe will send an army to attack him, only to be overpowered, by the will of Allah. This (defeated) army will be that of the Bani Kalb. Unfortunate indeed is he who does not receive a share from the booty of the Kalb. This person (Imam Mahdi) will distribute the spoils of war after the battle. He will lead the people according to the Sunnat and during his reign Islam will spread throughout the world. He will remain till seven years (since his emergence). He will pass away and the Muslims will perform his Janazah salaat.
(Abu Dawood)
The holy Prophet ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) said:
A group of my Ummah will fight for the truth until near the day of judgment when Jesus, the son of Marry, will descend, and the leader of them will ask him to lead the prayer, but Jesus declines, saying: “No, Verily, among you Allah has made leaders for others and He has bestowed his bounty upon them.
(Sahih Muslim)
It is reported from Abu Hurayra ( razil Allah hu anhu ) that the Prophet ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) said:
What will be your reaction when the son of Mary (Jesus) descends and your Imam is from among yourselves?
(Sahih Muslim, bab nuzul ‘isa, Vol. 2; Sahih Bukhari, kitab bad’ al-khalq wa nuzul ‘isa, Vol. 4)
The holy Prophet ( salullahu alaihe wassalam ) said:
What would be your situation if the Son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends upon you and your Imam is from among you?
(Bukhari, kitabul-Anbiya, Chapter Nuzul Isa bin Maryam)

Another Ex-Ahmadi has came out and gave her story to AK Shaikh on Zaitoon FM. Towards, the end of the podcast, the famous Ahmadi troll, Muhammad Yahya Khan came on and complained that Affaf was doing proper purdah and etc., so shameful. You can see additional interviews of Affaf Azhar here.
In 2021, the Ahmadiyya movement officially attacked her, they sent out a letter to all Ahmadi’s to stay away from her. Affaf Azhar and Noman Alam on the Beyond Beliefs youtube channel discussing #JusticeforNida, they discussed the raping of Nida Al-Nasser. Affaf Azhar has also exposed Ahmadiyya on men masturbating at Rabwah and many other things herein. Affaf Azhar has also spoke about the personal life of Mirza Farid Ahmad and how he was a well-known playboy of Rabwah.
In 2022, Affaf Azhar Hafiz EXPOSED Muzaffar Ahmad as a wife beater. Also in 2022, Affaf Azhar interviewed with Tahir Gora on TAGTV and explained #JusticeforNida. She talked about the Ahmadiyya asylum scandal in Malaysia. She also talks about the legal notice that she issued vs. the Ahmadiyya Movement in Canada. She also spoke about how all the main news outlets (BBC) refused to publish anything about #JusticeforNida. At about the 30:00 mark, the host asserts that Ahmadi’s are persecuted, which is a lie. She also talks about how converts to Ahmadiyya in the west are tricked into signing a bait form and paying chanda for 2 years before they can marry an Ahmadi woman/man.
Her father is Abdul Sami Zafar, who was working at the Rabwah Train station in May of 1974 when Ahmadi’s attacked teenagers from the Nishter Medical School. In 2014, he interviewed on the rogue Ahmadi channel, Alghulamonline wherein he revealed the fact that the Mirza Nasir Ahmad and his brothers planned and executed the May 29th, 1974 Rabwah Train attacks. Feel free to read Charles Kennedy’s academic work on the Rabwah Train attacks here. Mirza Nasir Ahmad claims to have been 12 miles away and never even cared to ask about these attacks.

In 1900-1902, via Tohfah Golarviah, RK, v-17, page 209, MGA and his team argued that MGA was the last Khalifa (akhree Khalifa) in the Muhammadi system. However, through my fathers lineage I am not from the Quraish (See Bro Imtiaz, 2:41:11)(See also RK, v. 17, p-333, Tohfa-e-Golarawiyah). MGA was claiming to be Muhammad (Saw)(astagfarullah), and thus, MGA was claiming to be the FINAL prophet.
In 1900-1902, MGA called Esa (as) as the promised messiah for the Jews and himself (MGA) as the promised messiah for the Muslims. However, a year earlier in Khutbah ilhamiya, MGA was also calling himself the Khatamul Khulafa (Khutbah ilhamiya, pages 69-70).
In 1902, MGA declared himself as greater than Esa (as)(nauzobillah) (See Noah’s Ark, page 29). In the very next sentence, he declared himself to be the Khatam-ul-Khulafa and compared his finality in the Islamic system of prophethood to Esa (as)’s finality in the Jewish prophethood (literally 123,999 prophets were Jewish, 99%, they were Muslim, not Jewish).
In 1906-1907, MGA was also claiming in Haqiqatul Wahy (1906-1907) that he was the only person in the entire Muslim ummah to be given the title of prophet.
In 1908 (Oct), after MGA died, Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya Vol. 5 was quietly published in October of 1908. In that book, MGA again made the claim of Khatam-ul Khulafa, essentially MGA’s team of writers (mostly Noorudin) were arguing that MGA was the final prophet, since in this context, Khalifa means prophet (which is also used for Adam [as]). They even argued that since Esa (As) was the Khatam ul Khulafa of the Jewish prophets, similarly MGA was the Khatam ul Khulafa of the Muslims prophets. Razi ullah Noman, with #Ahmadianswers claims that MGA meant as the BEST, thus, he was calling Eisa (As) as the best of the prophets after Moses (as) and MGA was the best of the ulema after Muhammad (saw), however, this is a farce. This was also discussed by Brother Imtiaz, Dr. Izhar Khan and the Dawah Wise team on 9-23-23 and on the Dawah Wise youtube channel.
See also the ROR of Oct-1943, which refers to Malfuzat.
In 2003, a few weeks before this death, Mirza Tahir Ahmad tells Ahmadi’s that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is the final prophet (see the clip on twitter and tik tok).

In 1898, in MGA’s book, “Najm ul Huda”, MGA admitted that he was hated my his father and elder brother since he was lazy and ate opium all day and refused to work. Thus, MGA’s god caused MGA’s father (Mirza Ghulam Murtaza)(died at age 85) to die as well as MGA’s elder brother Mirza Ghulam Qadir (who died at roughly age 50). In fact, during MGA’s childhood, MGA’s father repeatedly called MGA a girlie-man. MGA’s father would not allow MGA to raise his own children. MGA was a momma’s boy, his mom would repeatedly save MGA and make sure that MGA never had to work. In 1864, MGA was sent to pickup his father’s pension money and squandered it all. This was the worst thing that MGA had ever done, he was thus punished by being forced to work in Sialkot in the courts and specifically to never see his mother again (who was blamed or MGA’s being useless and lazy). MGA’s mother died in 1868, after she died, a messenger was sent to Sialkot to bring MGA home, thus MGA’s punishment was complete, MGA even missed the funeral.
