Mirza Ghulam Ahmad used poison, opium and wine in his medicines

Intro
Per Mirza Tahir Ahmad, MGA’s wife, (Nusrat Jehan) started taking tonic wine immediately after Mirza Mubarak Ahmad was born in 1899 (this is a lie). This is the famous case of MGA ordering tonic wine from Plommers shop in Lahore. In that same era, Mirza Mubarak Ahmad was also given port wine, since he was sick.  MGA also kept Saturnes wine. MGA and Noorudin would take wine and opium as needed, it was not a big deal. they gave it out like candy. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad used poison, opium and wine in his medicines too. This was all very normal for life at Qadian. Opium was another drug in heavy circulation at Qadian, and MGA never admitted to its usage, nor did MGA ever admit to having wine in his house. There is another entry from Seeratul Mahdi wherein MGA was giving out alcohol also. MGA also took coco wine (which contained cocaine) from Dr. Khalifa Rasheed ud Din. In that same era, Mirza Mubarak Ahmad was also given port wine, since he was sick.

In the following reference, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s brother-in-law tells us how MGA even used small amounts of poison in his quack medicines. Further, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s grandfather seemed to be of the opinion that wine even for medicine was a bad thing.

Nooruddin called Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as a prophet-of-allah (nabi-ullah) in 1909

Intro
In 1909, Maulvi Noorudin is quoted by Ahmadi sources wherein he calls MGA a Nabi-ullah. Watch my video about this famous phraseology here and read my essay here. In this quotation, Noorudin calls MGA a Nabi-Ullah in the context of the two famous hadith wherein Esa (As) is called as such. The marriage that Noorudin was referring to was the eldest daughter (Mubarika Begum) of MGA to Nawab Muhammad Ali Khan.

Ahmadiyya leadership admitted (in the 1930’s) that MGA used lots of editors and ghost writers

Intro
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and Maulvi Noorudin created Ahmadiyya as their collective brainchild.  MGA would have the dreams and make the wild claims and Noorudin would defend MGA and build a team of writers, imams and language scholars. MGA knew Noorudin from the 1870’s, they both had correspondance with Sir Syed in this era also, they were both also members of the famous Ahl-e-Hadith sect of Northern India, this sect never numbered more than 100,000 in British India in the late 1890’s, thus, almost everyone knew each other. Here are some names of the main ghost writing team, Maulvi Abdul Karim, Maulvi Mufti Muhammad Sadiq, Maulvi Sher Ali and Hakim Fazl Din of Bhera. Some other people who came independently, yet still joined MGA’s team was Maulvi Muhammad Ahsan Amrohi, who was also a member of the Ahl-e-Hadith sect, in fact, uptil his job with MGA, he worked for the founder of the Ahl-e-Hadith sect, Syed Nazeer Husain from Delhi and Siddiq Hasan Khan of Bhopal. Maulvi Muhammad Ali was another, however, he came via Khwaja Kamaluddin and the prominent Ahmadi’s of Lahore.

Some new areas of Qadian were built during Nooruddin’s Khilafat

  • Dar al-Rahmat
  • Dar al-Fazal
  • Dar al-‘Uloom
  • Dar al-Rahman
  • Dar al-Futooh
  • Dar al-Anwaar : This was the name of a subdivision in Qadian that was exclusively reserved for the upper stratum of the Ahmadiyya social hierarchy — the stratum that generally includes the Mirza Family.  No subdivision with the same name was created in Rabwah. The equivalent there is Dar al-Sadr.

In 1903, there were barely 30 male-Ahmadis living in Qadian

Dard (in his biography of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, p.777) writes:

“The officiating Tahsildar of Batala, Moti Ram, came to Qadian on May 8th, 1903, and made some
enquiries. In view of his suspicious attitude a memorial was sent to him on May 9th, 1903, under
the signatures of about 30 Ahmadis of Qadian. That was probably the total number of the adult male population of Ahmadis at that time living in Qadian.”

What is Chuhra Mela?

Intro
MGA had many cousins who also enjoyed a life of privilege.  Mirza Imam ud Din served in the British military and was famous for his service in Delhi under the Hodson’s horse regiment.  Some of his cousins and uncles also served.  MGA did not serve at all, he stayed home, most likely because of his broken right arm/hand, thus he wouldn’t be able to even lift a rifle.

What is Chuhra Mela?
It was an annual gathering in Qadian, organized by Mirza Imam-ud-Din and composed of the sweeper (chuhra) community from Qadian and adjoining areas, and also claimed to be the re-incarnation of a Hindu-Muslim saint, Lal Beg.  This could be a possible inspiration for Mirza Ghulam Ahmad‘s Jalsa Salana and for his movement as a whole, as Mirza Imam-ud-Din was a first cousin and rival of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

Other parties also confused the two religious movements in Qadian. A reference to this confusion can be found in Malfoozat (Speeches) Vol.5, pp.48-49:

Qadian and Ahmadis mentioned in “India and Pakistan: A General and Regional Geography” by O. H. K. Spate (1954)

Intro
This book, first published in 1954 with its revised edition published in 1972, was recognised as the standard work on Indo-Pakistani geography. Part 1 focuses on climate and soils; Part 2 provides a synopsis of the social complexities of the sub-continent; Part 3 examines planning and development; Part 4 is devoted to detailed regional description, both urban and rural (see https://books.google.com/books/about/India_and_Pakistan.html?id=3JEYMQAACAAJ). The book was written by Oskar Spate, he also worked on the Punjab boundary commission in 1947 and seems to have known Muhammad Zafrullah Khan very well. He was hired by the Ahmadiyya Movement in 1947, in terms of the Punjab Boundary Commission. The Mirza family begged him to help them place Qadian into Pakistani, but they failed. He also wrote, “The Partition of the Punjab and of Bengal”, The Geographical Journal, Vol. 110, No. 4/6 (Oct. – Dec., 1947), pp. 201-218 (18 pages), Published by: The Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers). In this journal he mentions how he loved the Ahmadiyya Movement and etc, they employed him as an advisor.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s daughter, “Ismat” died of cholera in 1891–at age 6

Intro
It seems that MGA killed his daughter Ismat. At the end, MGA was happy that she died, and claimed to have gotten a revelation that she would die. She was born in Ambala on April 15, 1886 and MGA was embarrassed for failing in his Musleh Maud prediction. MGA had made a the famous Musleh Maud prophecy on February 20th, 1886, that his wife was pregnant and she would give birth to a promised son, he followed this up with another announcement on March 22nd, 1886, and another on April 8th, 1886, and re-iterated the same language, i.e., that a son would be born to MGA very soon, these were published while MGA was in Hoshiarpur. On the way back, or maybe MGA’s wife was travelling alone, nevertheless, Ismat was the only child of Nusrat Jehan who was born outside of Qadian. She was born in Amballa on April 15, 1886 and MGA was embarrassed for failing in his prediction. A storm of ridicule and abuse was raised by the religous communities of British-India (muslims, christians and hindu’s) against MGA. The Christian paper Nur Afshan (dated June 3rd,1886), Pt. Lekhram of the Arya Samaj (vide his Ishtihar dated, April 25th, 1886), Nabi Bakhsh, a Muslim of Lahore, and others declared that the prophecy was falsified by the birth of the daughter.

5 years later (1891), while MGA was in Ludhiana for a debate, he claims to have accidently given her Jasmine oil instead of sherbert (see the Seeratul Mahdi ref in the below). Its unclear where she was buried. Her death is recorded in one of the oldest biographies on the life of MGA, its “Seeratul-masih -maoud by yaqub ali irfani which was published roughly in 1915. He also later on wrote the biography of Mir Nasir Nawab, wherein MGA’s admission of death by cholera was recorded. The book was later on edited by Ahmadiyya leadership, however, we have the original. Interestingly enough, the Lahori-Ahmadi biographer, Dr. Basharat Ahmad also wrote the same, i.e. that Ismat died of cholera in 1891, (see page, 87, http://www.muslim.org/bookspdf/tgr1/tgr1.pdf). See also the ROR of August-1924, page 269. She is also mentioned in the ROR of Dec-1939.

Mirza Tahir Ahmad purposely lied about the pension story in March of 1985

Intro
Mirza Tahir Ahmad was a vicious mullah. He lied and lied and lied. He setup Ord-XX and was able to move his headquarters to the UK. His bigotry knew no bounds, and he was bold and arrogant about it. In this specific case, I have caught him lying about MGA and his pension squandering situation from 1865. Mirza Tahir Ahmad delivered a speech in March of 1985 wherein he acted as-if he had never heard of the pension story in his entire life. He had never read Seeratul-Mahdi by Mirza Bashir Ahmad nor had any of his elders ever relayed the story to him. He then claims to have had his team find the reference and then gives a totally fraudulent rendition of the events. As the data shows, Mirza Tahir Ahmad totally misquoted this entire story.
