Intro
By 2022, we estimate that there are less than 50 Ahmadi’s in all of Myanmar aka Burma. “Our Foreign Missions” 1961 edition reports that the there were Ahmadi’s in Burma since 1938, however, they don’t give any references (See also (Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosques Around The World – A Pictorical Presentation. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community; Khilafat Centenary Edition. 2008. ISBN 978-1882494514). The same Ahmadiyya sources claim that in 1952 a mission was formally opened. “Our Foreign Missions” 1961 edition reports that a second edition of a chinese language version of “Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam” was published in the early 1960’s. In 1957, Ahmadiyya sources claim to have also created a Burmese translation.
