Intro
In the below, we have chronologically catalogued how MGA did Takfir against Muslims and vice versa. It should be noted that MGA never quoted 4:94 (4:95 in the Qadiani Quran), thus, his comments on this verse are unknown. Obviously, this verse and the hadith of this nature refer to war time and how a Muslim shouldn’t suspect that a new Muslim had fake converted to Islam. It should be noted that MGA did Takfir in 1891 (of Muslims who believe in abrogation). MGA also alleged that all Muslims who believe in the physical descent of Eisa (as)(which constitutes 99% of Muslims in the world) were guilty of breaking the seal of prophethood as described in 33:40.

In 1892-1893, MGA and his team of writers wrote vs. Sir Syed that Allah had opened secrets of prophethood, messenger ship and wahi to MGA and thus, MGA’s deniers are Kafir and destined for Hell (See A’ina-e-Kamalat-e-Islam, online English edition, page 293).

In 1899-1902, in Tiryaq ul Qulub, MGA said Kafirs are only those who deny law-bearing prophets, and since MGA wasn’t a law-bearing prophet, his deniers were not Kafir. However, MGA claimed prophethood in 1900-1901 and his attitude changed (See Tiryaq ul Qulub, p. 130, via Muhammad Ali, “Prophethood in Islam“).

In 1902, MGA did Takfir on Shia’s and called their beliefs as shirk.

In 1902, via Tohfa Tun Nadwah (see page 16, online english edition), MGA said Muslims are accountable for denying him.

In 1903, MGA ordered Ahmadi’s to refuse the Salaam (greeting of peace) to any level of rejector (mukafir) and those that cuss (galee) at Ahmadiyya, those who are silent, they are the rejectors (mukafir). MGA also said don’t eat with them, buying and selling with them is allowed. Do not perform funeral prayers for them! (See Malfuzat-3, older Urdu edition, page 215, April 10, 1903, Al-Hakam, pages 13-14 and via Bro Imtiaz showed a quote (1:18:37 timestamp)(Dec-2025).

In 1905, Ahmadiyya sources allege that on Oct-27-1905, while in Delhi, on Friday, MGA was allegedly asked by a student many questions about his wahi and status. MGA was also asked as to why his deniers were called Kafir. MGA replied and said that Kufr means to reject. When
these people do not accept one appointed by Allah and abuse and deny, then the matter does not stop there. Rather, a door opens, and the tongue is set loose, and gradually, one is deprived
of the ability to do good deeds. MGA also called himself a prophet, without qualification (See Malfuzat-8, online English edition, pages 52-64, via Badr, vol. 1, no. 33, p. 2–4, dated 6 November 1905).

In 1905, MGA argued that it was mandatory to accept him (See the al-Badr, vol. 1, no. 36, p. 3–5, dated 17 November 1905, via Malfuzat-8, online English edition, page 69).

In 1905 (Nov-17), MGA and his team of writers argued that the denial of a prophet leads to Kufr. They also quoted a hadith from Bukhari wherein it is stated that Allah has a war with those who deny a Wali (See Malfuzat-8, online English edition, page 9, via Al-Hakam, vol. 9, no. 40, p. 10, dated 17 November 1905).

In 1905 (Dec), two men took Bai‘at [the Pledge of Allegiance] with MGA at Qadian. One asked whether it is permissible to offer Prayer behind a non-Ahmadi or not. MGA said, They call us kafirs [disbelievers]. If we are not kafirs, that kufr [disbelief ] reverts upon them. The one calling a Muslim a kafir, is himself a kafir. For this reason, it is not permissible to offer Prayer behind such people. Moreover, those in their midst who remain silent [regarding us being Muslim or kafir] are also included among them. It is not permissible to offer Prayer behind them either because they harbour some opposing religious belief in their hearts which prevents them from openly joining us (See Malfuzat-8, online English edition, page 192, via Badr, vol. 1, no. 39, p. 2, dated 15 December 1905).

In 1906, an Ahmadi from Jhelum came to Qadian and told MGA that there was an Ahmadi in Jhelum who prays behind Muslims and sometimes, leads the Ahmadi’s in prayers. Is this permissible? MGA said when those people call us kafir and say that if we are wrong in calling them kafir, then we ourselves are kafir, then how can it be permissible to pray behind them? Similarly, if an Ahmadi prays behind them, do not pray behind him until he offers taubah [repentance] (See Malfuzat-8, online English edition, pages 430-431, via Badr, vol. 6, nos. 1 and 2, p. 18, dated 10 January 1907).

In 1906-1907 (via Haqiqatul Wahy), MGA denied write a letter to Dr. Khan wherein he did Takfir, however, a few pages later, MGA called Muslim’s who believe that Eisa (As) hasn’t died yet as committing shirk. Thus, MGA was basically doing Takfir 3-4 different ways in 1906-1907.

In 1908 (Mar), MGA was asked about Ali (ra) and whether he did Taqiyya or not. Firstly, MGA argued that Shias incorrectly accuse Sunni’s of altering the Quran, MGA says that this isn’t possible. MGA infers that the Shias accuse Ali (ra) of disingenuously praying behind 3 Khalifa’s and called it Taqiyya, MGA says this is not possible. MGA then says that his own followers are thus not allowed to pray behind non-Ahmadi’s (See the Ahmadiyya Takfir timeline)(See Malfuzat-10, online English edition, pages 215-221, via Al-Hakam, vol. 12, no. 20, p. 7–8, dated 18 March 1908). MGA compared Taqiyya with Ahmadi’s praying behind non-Ahmadi’s.

In 1908 (Dec), Mufti Muhammad Sadiq published portions of his correspondence with an Ahmadi in Baluchistan. This letter was addressed to MGA, however, opened and read by Mufti Muhammad Sadiq, which is normal. In this letter, the Ahmadi is asking if it is OK to pray behind non-Ahmadi’s? The Ahmadi in the letter complains about a local Ahmadi named Nur Muhammad who seems to like to pray behind Muslims. This Ahmadi explains that this Nur Muhammad is a dear friend of his and is a pious man of repute. This Ahmadi explains that Nur Muhammad was the one who introduced him to Ahmadiyya in the first place, thus the irony and confusion. MGA allegedly dictated a response via Mufti Muhammad Sadiq. In this response, MGA said that if there are such people who would tender a public announcement to evidence their good faith that they do not follow those maulawis [Muslim clergymen] who have declared me a disbeliever, it would be acceptable to pray with them. Otherwise, the one who declares Muslims to be kafir becomes a kafir himself, so how can we offer our Prayer behind him? Verily, this is not permissible according to the Noble Law [of Islam](See Malfuzat-10, pages 221-223, via al-Badr, vol. 8, no. 7–9, p. 5, dated 24 to 31 December 1908).

By 1911, MGA’s son, Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad was authenticating the letter to Dr. Khan and thus contradicted MGA.

In 1914 (May-16), Mirza Bashir Ahmad was listed as the editor of the Al-Fazl (see Bro Imtiaz, 1:21:35 time stamp)(see scan in the below). Mirza Bashir Ahmad wrote an article wherein he accused Khwaja Kamaluddin of starting this dispute on Takfir and now as a result of that, there are 2 sects. Mirza Bashir Ahmad alleges that it was only Abdul Hakim Khan who didn’t agree with the Takfir of MGA in 1906-1907, i.e., that every person who has heard of MGA and has refused to accept MGA, he is not a Muslim. Mirza Bashir Ahmad says that Abdul Hakim Khan was kicked out of Ahmadiyya for the crime of not agreeing with MGA’s takfir.

In 1915, via the Urdu Review of Religions (ROR)(1915-March/April)(the famous Kalimatul Fasl), and via at Bro Imtiaz 1:11:19, time stamp (in July-2025), Mirza Bashir Ahmad quoted the letter to Dr. Abdul Hakim Khan Patialvi wherein it is written that every such individual who has heard MGA’s message and has not accepted MGA, they are not a Muslim. Mirza Bashir Ahmad says that this quote of MGAQ solves many problems, firstly, MGAQ was told via ilham that those who reject you is not a Muslim and this is an order that MGA should consider those who reject him as Non-Muslim.

In 1916, The Khalifa’s brother, Mirza Bashir Ahmad does open Takfir on Lahori-Ahmadi’s and all other Muslims (See Al fazl 15 Jan 1916). Basically says whoever doesn’t believe in MGA whether he has heard of him or not is a kafir, but what would happen to him in the hereafter they don’t know. In the Al-Fazl, September 5, 1916, page 6, Mirza Bashir Ahmad wrote about Ahmadiyya Takfeer, this was turned into a book, “Mazameen-e-Basheer” in the 1960’s.

In 1917, the Ahmadiyya Khalifa does open Takfir, he alleges that MGA said that their Islam and our Islam is different, their God and our God are different, Our Hajj and their Hajj are different, Similarly, we differ from them in every matter” (See the Al-Fazl, 8-21-1917,full scans in the below). The ROR of April-May-1917, Maulvi Sher Ali clearly explains how MGA’s beliefs on his deniers changed over the years and eventually, landed on the idea that all non-Ahmadees were infidels (Kafir’s).

In 1918, Maulana Muhammad Ali refuted these ideas and arguments most forcefully in his Urdu book of some 90 pages entitled Ahmad Mujtaba, published in December 1917. He also covered the same subject in English in his book Split in the Ahmadiyya Movement, published in January 1918. In summary, Muhammad Ali argued that MGA was not a prophet and thus his deniers could never be Kafir’s per Islamic law.

In 1919, We have found a reference to the Al-Fazl of 1919 wherein the Khalifa, Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad expressly calls all deniers of MGA’s prophethood as Kafirs and deniers of God. It’s from a recent online edition of Al-Hakam.

In 1921, The Khalifa finally responded to Muhammad Ali in his famous book, “Aenas Sadaqat” (The Mirror of Truth)(December of 1921)) in english as “Truth About the Split”(1924). In this book, the Khalifa admitted to doing Takfir, however, he seems to have been softening his stance and referred to Muslims as “ghair-ahmadi-musalman” in english as non-ahmadi-muslims. Also in 1921, there is a conversation on Qadiani’s not praying janaza on Muslims. This law is brought by Muhammad (Saw). If someone denies one prophet amongst all the prophets, and point #2, you can’t make dua for them. Thus, someone who denies the prophethood of MGA is outside of Islam. Thus, blame Muhammad (saw)(mazala)(See Al-Fazl, Oct-17-1921). 

In 1922, Muhammad Ali responds to Aenas Sadaqat, with “Haqiqat-i-Ikhtilaf” (Reality of our Differences) and explains how the Khalifa at Qadian is running a family business. However, Muhammad Ali didn’t catch how the Khalifa was slowly moving away from open Takfir to silent Takfir.

In 1923, Mirza Basheer-uddin Mahmud Ahmad, the Ahmadi Khalifa ordered Ahmadis to stop doing open Takfir on Muslims, even though it is true that the non-Ahmadis are infidels, one should not speak about it needlessly (See Freidman, “Prophecy Continous” (2003) edition, see page 161, via Review of Religions,–22 (1923), page 51). 

In 1931, the Khalifa was still saying that the Qadiani-Ahmadi version of Islam differs with all Sunni’s/Shia’s.

In 1933, the ROR of March-1933 tells the world that the Qadiani’s see Muslims as Kafir’s, this is in terms of an essay entitled, “Ahmadiyya Movement as Viewed by a Christian Writer”.

In 1934, the ROR of Sep-Oct 1934 discusses Ahmadiyya Takfir.

In 1935, MGA’s famous letter to Dr. Khan wherein MGA does open Takfir is quoted in Al-Fazl, see Essence of Islam (See Al-Fazl, Qadian, Jan 15, 1935 and March-15, 1935, page 5)(April 26, 1935, pg.14). This book (Political Solidarity of Islam) was a Friday khutba delivered by Mirza Mahmud Ahmad on 26th April 1935. An article appeared in Paigham Sulh in its issue of 11th May 1935 by Maulana Umar-ud-Din Shimlavi commenting on this khutba. And in Paigham Sulh dated 15 May 1935 the Friday khutba of Maulana Muhammad Ali delivered on 3rd May 1935 (i.e. the next Friday after Mirza Mahmud Ahmad gave his khutba) is published responding to Mirza Mahmud Ahmad’s khutba. Read at this link Maulana Muhamamd Ali’khutba of 3 May 1935. Maulana Muhammad Ali also deals with Mirza Mahmud Ahmad’s absurd claim on p. 11 that: “It was the late Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din, who by his speeches and writings, at first, started this question of Kufr and Islam in our Community.” I mentioned above (link) that an article appeared in Paigham Sulh in its issue of 11th May 1935 by Maulana Umar-ud-Din Shimlavi commenting on this khutba by Mirza Mahmud Ahmad, referred to by Bilal above. I must admit that I was remiss and negligent in not actually reading this article! It doesn’t only comment on that khutba, it notes the attempt to back peddle. So I have made this two page article available at this link. Its title is: “Kufr collapsed after much hope and prayer” (Kufr toota khuda khuda kar ke), su In Paigham Sulh of 14 September 1935, Dr Basharat Ahmad has commented on the 1935 khutbah of Mirza Mahmud Ahmad being discussed above. Here is a link to his article.

In 1936, The ROR of March has an extensive write up vs. Muhammad Iqbal, in this write-up they talk about Ahmadiyya Takfir and claim it’s different than it sounds. The ROR of Oct-1936 discusses Takfir. In the Paigham Sulh of 3 February 1936, Allama Iqbal alleges that he met MGA in 1904 in Sialkot and asked him about Takfir and MGA said NO (see Sir Iqbal and the Ahmadiyya Movement by Hafiz Sher Ali).

In 1937, the ROR of May discusses the Ahmadiyya theory on Takfir, quotes Muhammad Iqbal and his concerns, and downplays ahmadiyya takfir.

In 1940, there is a khutba by Maulana Muhammad Ali on 26 April 1940 (Paigham Sulh, 3 May 1940), entitled: “Khalifa of Qadian refuses to enter conclusive debate. The issue of Kufr and Islam is the real root of our difference.”

In 1941, the ROR of June-1941 quoted an older edition of Malfuzat and alleges that MGA claimed in 1901, that his rejectors are Kafir, since Muslims believe that anyone who rejects the Messiah or Mahdi will be a Kafir. The ROR of Nov-1941 has Malfuzat from MGA wherein MGA claims that his denial is like denying Muhammad (saw). The ROR of Dec-1941 also talks about Takfir and the status of those who reject MGA.

In 1946-1947, the Mirza family played a shrill game of politics in terms of the partition of India. Zafrullah Khan and the Mirza family single handedly split up India per the British Governments request.  The Ahmadi’s were promised compensation and received it promptly when the govt. of Pakistan allowed the Mirza family to buy rabwah and run it as a state within a state, as well as a 99-year lease. Interestingly enough, outwardly, Mirza Mahmud Ahmad (The Khalifa) was against the creation of Pakistan. However, he was lying, and most likely just trying to keep the heat off of him, behind the scenes, he knew everything about the partition and was planning for it, in fact, he got a military escort as he fled from Qadian to Lahore during partition. In 1974, Mirza Nasir Ahmad urged Bhutto to declare Ahmadi’s as non-Muslims and he did just that, its all a big conspiracy. The Mirza family always wanted to move out of Pakistan, since its a 3rd world country. Mirza Tahir Ahmad completed the plan in 1984 as he got Ord-XX passed.

In 1954, at the Munir Enquiry Commission, the Khalifa claimed that when he wrote Kafir for Muslims in 1921 and before, he only meant small-Kafirs, Muslim-Kafirs essentially. Here is the quote: “It is evident from this statement itself that the people here I have in mind I take as Muslims. Therefore, when I use the word kafir, I have in my mind kafirs of the second kind which I have defined already, i.e., they are not driven or thrown out of the Millat. When I say they are outside the pale of Islam I have in my mind the view, by Mufradat-i-Raghib on page 240, where Islam has been shown to be of two kinds: one lower than the stage of Iman ; the other above the stage of Iman. In DunalIman, in the stage of lower than common Iman, are included people whose Islam remains at a level lower than a proper Iman and in the stage of higher than the common Iman are Muslims who stand at a level of distinction in their faith, higher than the common level. This is why I said that some people fall outside the pale of Islam, I had in my mind people who come under the category of Dunal Iman. There is an authentic Hadith in Mishkat as well, where the Holy Prophet said: `Whosoever helps a man who is unjust, he puts himself thereby out of the pale of Islam.’”

In 1965, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s published “Truth Triumphs”, in this book, they accused the Khalifa of changing his position on Takfir in 1953 and adopting the Lahori position, however, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s missed the main point here, i.e., the qadiani-Ahmadi’s had been practicing silent Takfir since 1923, and the statements of the Khalifa in 1953 were simply an extension of that. The Qadiani-Ahmadi’s responded with “Truth Prevails”, which was ordered by Mirza Nasir Ahmad via Qazi Muhammad Nazeer, (the Principal of the Jamia-Ahmadiyya at Rabwah) it was published on 10-4-1966 (See page xiv). They argued that the Khalifa, and MGA, only meant Kafir in terms of “small kufr” or kufr wherein someone remains a Muslim.

In 1974, Mirza Nasir Ahmad claims that when his grandfather and father used the word Kafir for Muslims they didn’t mean outside of Islam. This was at the 1974 NA, Mirza Nasir Ahmad was cornered, and lied about his father and grandfathers words.

In 1997, In what seems to be 1997, Mirza Tahir Ahmad gave an answer to a question about the status of those Muslims who have denied MGA. This was at the 21st Jalsa Salana in Mannheim, Germany.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad argued that anyone and everyone has the right to call themselves a Muslim. And no one has the right to declare him a Non-Muslim against his own profession.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad allegedly quoted the Quran, however, the verse is unknown.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad quoted 49:14 of the Quran (49:15 in the Kadiani Koran) and alleged that ….

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad argued that during the life of Muhammad (saw), he never deprived anyone the right to call themselves a Muslim.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad poses a hypothetical question as to what would happen to any Muslim who denies the prophethood of Jesus (as)? Mirza Tahir Ahmad explains that if a Muslim denies Jesus (as), then his time is over, he’s not concerned with Islam anymore. In the sight of Allah, if a Muslim rejects even one prophet of Allah, then he is not a “True Muslim”. Mirza Tahir Ahmad says that he may continue to call himself whatever he likes. Mirza Tahir Ahmad re-iterates that if there is an Imam appointed by Allah, then everyone must accept him. If a person does not accept, and whether he is called a Muslim or not thereafter is irrelevant. Allah will not accept anyone’s faith, if Allah has sent an Imam and someone dares to reject him. Mirza Tahir Ahmad says, “If Ahmadi’s are right…then anyone who rejects Ahmadiyya, God will not be happy with him, God will not favor him, how can Allah love anyone who rejects the imam of the age? In 2006, The PDF version of the English tadhkirah is edited to remove the revelation of MGA in terms of Takfir. Essence of Islam, Vol. 4 is published, the quote is still there.

In 2009, the 2009 English version of Tadhkirah is published with massive edits. The revelation of Takfir is totally removed.

By the 2010’s, Qasim Rashid and other famous Ahmadi spokesmen totally deny Takfir against Muslims and call the quotation of 1906 as a clerical error of sorts.

In 2018, the 2018 online english edition of Tadhkirah is also missing the quote.

In 2024, Maulvi Razi and Fath-e-Islam did Takfir of all Muslims (vs. Adnan Rashid) and rogue Ahmadi’s like Janba group, Lahori-Ahmadi’s and all others, see herein too (see on twitter and tiktok).

In Dec-2025, Bro Imtiaz explains how just yesterday, Ansar Raza admitted that Muslims are Kafirs and Ahmadi women are not allowed to marry Muslim men, since they are Kafir and the Ahmadiyya Movement won’t allow a Nikkah. A few days later, Bro Imtiaz made another video wherein Ansar Raza keeps lying about Ahmadiyya Takfir.

In Dec-2025, (At 1:15:10), Qaiser Raja starts, Qaiser says that Maulvi Razi has admitted that Muslims are Kafirs, and thus, the final result has came out. Qaiser Raja asks, if Ahmadi’s consider us Kafir, then how can the Quran judge between us? Maulvi Razi called the agreement by all Muslim schools that Ahmadi’s are Kafir is “ijma of the Kafirs”, thus, Razi admitted that Muslims are Kuffar. Qadiani’s will die, but they won’t quote MGA. What happened to Ahmadi’s pretending to be innocent? Per Qadiani’s, all sects of Qadiani’s are Kuffar! Ahmadi’s consider the words of MGA as Wahi. Razi has embarrassed (zaleel) Qadiani’s more than anyone else in the world! Muslims don’t care about the Janba group and other Ahmadiyya sects. Qaiser Raja points out how Razi was comparing Kashf from a prophet to that of a non-prophet. MGA said that he is a stinky place. Razi interrupts and asks Qaiser Raja to make an oath (say Wallah). There is nothing in common with Qadiani’s and Muslims.

Even in 2023, the same policy is in effect, Ahmadi’s call 1.5 billion Muslims as Kafir’s under their breath and thus lie.

MGA claims to be the Messiah is called Kafir by the ulema of North India, or all Muslim imams who heard of MGA’s claims. Obviously, the majority of the world never heard MGA’s claims in MGA’s lifetime.

“It has been my firm belief from the very beginning that he who denies my claim is not a kafir (non-Muslim) or dajjal (anti-Christ).*…I do not name the reciter of the kalimah a kafir until he takes the backlash himself by declaring me kafir and an impostor.”

*It is worth remembering that to call a denier of one’s claim a kafir is the privilege of those prophets alone who bring Shari’ah and new commandments from God, but as to the inspired ones (mulhams) and those spoken to by God (muhaddathin) other than the possessors of Shari’ah (sahib al-shari’ah), however great their dignity may be in the sight of God and however much they may have been honoured by being spoken to by God, denial of their claim does not make anyone kafir. .. .”

In 1902, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad openly did Takfir on all Shia’s (See “I’Jaz-e-Ahmadi”).

In Tuhfatun-Nadwah, MGA claimed to be the arbiter(al-hakam) as explained via sahih hadith, and thus all Muslims who reject MGA. In this book, MGA said:

“””All Muslims are obligated to obey me in matters of religion and to accept me as the Promised Messiah. Those who have received my message but do not accept me as their arbiter or as the Promised Messiah nor believe in the Divine origins of my revelation will be accountable for this in the heavens even if they are Muslims. For they have rejected that which they should have accepted at its proper time.””” (see page 15, online english edition)

In Tofha Golarvia (See RK, 17, page 254), MGA and his team of writers argued that Muhammad (Saw) came into this world twice (See the Ahmadi argument on 62:3), and only twice and it would never happen again. MGA and his team of writers argued that it’s obligatory to believe in the second coming of the prophet Muhammad (saw)(astagfarullah) just as it is mandatory to believe in the commandments of God. MGA and his team of writers argued said that to reject the second coming in the 6th millennium is rejecting the Quran.

In Dec-2025, Bro Imtiaz showed a quote (1:18:37 timestamp) from MGA wherein MGA advised Ahmadi’s to refuse the Salaam (greeting of peace) to any level of rejector (mukafir) and those that cuss (galee) at Ahmadiyya (older Urdu edition, Malfuzat-3, page 215, April 10, 1903, Al-Hakam, pages 13-14). Those who are silent, they are the rejectors (mukafir). Read about the Ahmadiyya Takfir timeline. MGA also said don’t eat with them, buying and selling with them is allowed. Do not perform funeral prayers for them!

Regarding the funeral prayer, he said that if the deceased is not an open (public) denier and one who openly declares disbelief, then there is no harm in offering the funeral prayer for him, because the Pure Being of God alone is the Knower of the unseen.

He said: Those people who declare us disbelievers and who openly hurl abuses at us – do not exchange “Assalamu Alaikum” with them, nor eat together with them. Yes, buying and selling is permissible; in this there is no favor or obligation upon anyone.

The person who outwardly shows that he is neither on this side nor on that side is, in reality also one who denies us. And the one who does not affirm us and says, “I consider them good people,” is also an opponent. Such people are, in reality, hypocritical by nature. Their principle is, with Muslims, “Allah Allah”, with Brahmins, “Ram Ram”. Such people have no connection with God.

Outwardly they say that they do not wish to hurt anyone’s feelings, but remember that whoever will be on one side, someone’s feelings will inevitably be hurt.

In 1905, Ahmadiyya sources allege that on Oct-27-1905, while in Delhi, on Friday, MGA was allegedly asked by a student many questions about his wahi and status. MGA was also asked as to why his deniers were called Kafir. MGA replied and said that Kufr means to reject. When
these people do not accept one appointed by Allah and abuse and deny, then the matter does not stop there. Rather, a door opens, and the tongue is set loose, and gradually, one is deprived
of the ability to do good deeds. MGA also called himself a prophet, without qualification (See Malfuzat-8, online English edition, pages 52-64, via Badr, vol. 1, no. 33, p. 2–4, dated 6 November 1905).

“””The Need to Accept the Promised Messiah

A question was again presented today before the Promised Messiah as: When we offer Prayer, observe the Fast, and follow the other injunctions of the Shariah, what harm can there be if we simply do not accept you?

The Promised Messiah as said:

I have answered this question many times. I believe in the Word of Allah and the word of the Messenger sas. In addition, I believe in the revelation of God. My coming is according to the
promise of Allah and the Messenger. How can someone who believes in one command of Allah and the Messenger but not in another, claim that he believes in God?

This is what is mentioned in the Holy Quran: Those people believe in a part and do not believe in another part; if so, then they do not believe. One promised by God and His Messenger came at his appointed time. He came at the head of the century, brought Signs, and came at the exact time of need. He possesses correct and powerful arguments in support of his claim. Is it the work of a believer to reject such a person?

The Jews were called monotheists. Up to today, they claim they are established upon monotheism. They would pray and fast, but they would not accept the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. So, due to this, they became disbelievers. A person who rejects even a single item set forth by a Messenger sent by the command of Allah the Exalted, and opposes him stubbornly, is a disbeliever. Moreover, those people are in error who say that we pray and fast and perform all good deeds, what need do we have?

They do not realize that the ability to do good deeds is also.

In 1905 (Dec), two men took Bai‘at [the Pledge of Allegiance] with MGA at Qadian. One asked whether it is permissible to offer Prayer behind a non-Ahmadi or not. MGA said, They call us kafirs [disbelievers]. If we are not kafirs, that kufr [disbelief ] reverts upon them. The one calling a Muslim a kafir, is himself a kafir. For this reason, it is not permissible to offer Prayer behind such people. Moreover, those in their midst who remain silent [regarding us being Muslim or kafir] are also included among them. It is not permissible to offer Prayer behind them either because they harbour some opposing religious belief in their hearts which prevents them from openly joining us (See Malfuzat-8, online English edition, page 192, via Badr, vol. 1, no. 39, p. 2, dated 15 December 1905).

MGA writes in a letter to Dr. Khan how any Muslim who rejects him is a non-Muslim. MGA is also covering a verse of the Quran which states that belief in all prophets isn’t quite necessary for salvation, i.e., Christians/Jews and others can still go to heaven if they do good works.

2009 Tadhkirah vs. the 2004 Tadhkirah, in terms of Takfir – ahmadiyyafactcheckblog

We have found Ahmadiyya leadership editing out a certain reference in terms of Takfir in the 2009 online english edition of Tadhkirah and the 2018 edition. In, fact there were many changes, however, no reasoning is ever given. Ahmadiyya leadership just edits things out as they deem fit. They didn’t tell us as to who ordered the removal or why. This is the level of deceit that Ahmadi’s have operated with over the past 100+ years. The same quote can also be found in the 1976 edition of Tadhkirah (See page 346).

It should be noted that in 1911, Mirza Basheer-uddin Mahmud Ahmad (MGA’s son) wrote a controversial article that the Khalifa holds on to and edits, wherein it is stated that all Muslims who reject MGA are Kafirs. Khwaja Kamaluddin immediately issues a response and claims that the son of MGA is mistaken. Mirza Basheer-uddin Mahmud Ahmad quoted MGA’s famous letter of 1906 to Dr. Khan. The Al-Fazl of March-1935 also confirmed the letter to Dr. Khan as authentic.

In Haqiqatul Wahy, MGA denies writing the letter to Dr. Khan in 1906 wherein he said that all of those who reject him are non-Muslim.

Also in In Haqiqatul Wahy, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad said that any Muslim who believes that Eisa (as) hasn’t died yet, is committing shirk.

MGA also presents the famous hadith about the consequences of calling a Muslim a Kafir.  MGA argued that since many Muslims have called him (MGA) as a Kafir, they have become Kafir themselves, since MGA is a Muslim. This is a silly argument, since MGA is a confirmed Kafir since 1891.

In 1906, an Ahmadi from Jhelum came to Qadian and told MGA that there was an Ahmadi in Jhelum who prays behind Muslims and sometimes, leads the Ahmadi’s in prayers. Is this permissible? MGA said when those people call us kafir and say that if we are wrong in calling them kafir, then we ourselves are kafir, then how can it be permissible to pray behind them? Similarly, if an Ahmadi prays behind them, do not pray behind him until he offers taubah [repentance] (See Malfuzat-8, online English edition, pages 430-431, via Badr, vol. 6, nos. 1 and 2, p. 18, dated 10 January 1907).

In 1908 (Mar), MGA was asked about Ali (ra) and whether he did Taqiyya or not. Firstly, MGA argued that Shias incorrectly accuse Sunni’s of altering the Quran, MGA says that this isn’t possible. MGA infers that the Shias accuse Ali (ra) of disingenuously praying behind 3 Khalifa’s and called it Taqiyya, MGA says this is not possible. MGA then says that his own followers are thus not allowed to pray behind non-Ahmadi’s (See the Ahmadiyya Takfir timeline)(See Malfuzat-10, online English edition, pages 215-221, via Al-Hakam, vol. 12, no. 20, p. 7–8, dated 18 March 1908). MGA compared Taqiyya with Ahmadi’s praying behind non-Ahmadi’s.

This meeting seems to have been recorded in Malfuzat, Vol.5, pages 283–285, 635–636, see also pagham-i-Sulh, vol. 23, page 488. On 15th May at 10.00 a.m. two Barristers-at-Law came to see Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, one of them being Mian Fazl-i Husain (d. 1936).

Mian Fazl-i Husain, Bar-at-Law, submitted:

“If all nonAhmadis are called as kafir (unbelievers), then nothing will remain of Islam.”

The Founder replied:

“We do not expel anyone from Islam who accepts the Kalima unless he calls us kafir,
thereby making himself a kafir. Perhaps you don’t know that when I claimed to have been sent by God, then Maulana Muhammad Husain of Batala took great pains in obtaining a religious edict stating that I am a kafir, Dajjal (anti-Christ) and misguided; that no funeral prayer should be held for me, and that whoever accosts me with the Islamic greetings Assalamu Alaikum, or shakes hands with me, or considers me a Muslim, shall also become a kafir. Now it is an agreed principle that anyone who calls a believer as a kafir becomes a kafir himself. How can we deny this principle? You should tell us what way is left for us in these circumstances? We did not issue any edict against them first. Now that they are called kafir, it is only the result of their declaring us as kafir. Once a man challenged me to enter into a mubahila (to invoke curse of Allah on one who is the liar). I replied that a mubahila between two Muslims was not permitted. He replied: We consider you as a full-fledged kafir.”

Mian Fazl-i Husain submitted:

“If they call you kafir, let them do it. What is the harm if you do not call them kafir? The holy Founder said: “He who does not brand us as kafir we never call him kafir.”

In 1908 (Dec), Mufti Muhammad Sadiq published portions of his correspondence with an Ahmadi in Baluchistan. This letter was addressed to MGA, however, opened and read by Mufti Muhammad Sadiq, which is normal. In this letter, the Ahmadi is asking if it is OK to pray behind non-Ahmadi’s? The Ahmadi in the letter complains about a local Ahmadi named Nur Muhammad who seems to like to pray behind Muslims. This Ahmadi explains that this Nur Muhammad is a dear friend of his and is a pious man of repute. This Ahmadi explains that Nur Muhammad was the one who introduced him to Ahmadiyya in the first place, thus the irony and confusion. MGA allegedly dictated a response via Mufti Muhammad Sadiq. In this response, MGA said that if there are such people who would tender a public announcement to evidence their good faith that they do not follow those maulawis [Muslim clergymen] who have declared me a disbeliever, it would be acceptable to pray with them. Otherwise, the one who declares Muslims to be kafir becomes a kafir himself, so how can we offer our Prayer behind him? Verily, this is not permissible according to the Noble Law [of Islam](See Malfuzat-10, pages 221-223, via al-Badr, vol. 8, no. 7–9, p. 5, dated 24 to 31 December 1908).

Mirza Basheer-uddin Mahmud Ahmad (MGA’s son) writes a controversial article that the Khalifa holds on to and edits, wherein it is stated that all Muslims who reject MGA are Kafirs. Mirza Basheer-uddin Mahmud Ahmad quoted MGA’s famous letter of 1906 to Dr. Khan and thus authenticates it. Maulvi Nur ud Din was bed-ridden and vacillating. 3 years later, He famously said that even the Mian Sahib Mirza Basheer-uddin Mahmud Ahmad hadn’t understood the issue of Takfir.

In Aug-1911, Khwaja Kamaluddin immediately issues a response and claims that the son of MGA is mistaken (See “Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal and the Ahmadiyya Movement” by Maulana Hafiz Sher Muhammad, 1995, page 13).

When Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad returned from Hajj he gave a speech which was quoted in the Al-Badr and had never been quoted or commented upon by any Ahmadi. Nevertheless, in that speech Mirza B. Mahmud Ahmad explains how Ahmadi’s don’t consider other Muslims as Kafir based on their belief that Jesus is alive, instead, Ahmadi’s consider Muslim’s as Kafirs simply because they call Ahmadi’s as Kafirs.

Allegedly, Maulana Nur-ud-Din asked Maulana Muhammad Ali to expound the doctrine of Kufr and the complications of MGA. Accordingly, Maulana Muhammad Ali wrote a tract which was published in Qadian on 13 March 1914, in which allegedly refuted Mirza Mahmud Ahmad’s wrong belief. The Maulana writes in it:

“After writing this article I read it to Hazrat Khilafat-ul-Masih. As he was ill in those days, his son Abdul Hayy, thinking that he perhaps could not listen with full attention, asked him: Sir, are you listening? He replied: I am well able to listen to it, if I disagreed with anything I would say so. When the article ended, he directed that a hadith report from ‘Sahih Muslim’ be added at the close. That has been done.”

1914

In 1914 (May-16), Mirza Bashir Ahmad was listed as the editor of the Al-Fazl (see Bro Imtiaz, 1:21:35 time stamp)(see scan in the below). Mirza Bashir Ahmad wrote an article wherein he accused Khwaja Kamaluddin of starting this dispute on Takfir and now as a result of that, there are 2 sects. Mirza Bashir Ahmad alleges that it was only Abdul Hakim Khan who didn’t agree with the Takfir of MGA in 1906-1907, i.e., that every person who has heard of MGA and has refused to accept MGA, he is not a Muslim. Mirza Bashir Ahmad says that Abdul Hakim Khan was kicked out of Ahmadiyya for the crime of not agreeing with MGA’s takfir.

So now two parties have different, i.e., the believers and disbelievers, those who believed in Hazrat Sahib remained the believers, the Ummah of Muhammad (saw) and of other prophets who did not believe in this last prophet are considered as Kuffar (disbelievers), and this is not a strange or surprising thing, because since the beginning of the world, there have been only two groups in the world, one disbelievers and other believers……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

your objection is that why do we use the word Muslim in relation to them, i.e., in relation to Non-Ahmadi’? The answer is that in reality they are Kuffar (disbelievers) and according to the terms of the Holy Quran and the Arabic dictionary we are forced to consider them Kuffar (disbelievers), but because of them presenting their kalima and other islamic beliefs in shahadah, they call themselves Muslims and they liked to be called Muslims. There it should be our duty to call them Muslims in public, there is no problem in it and there is no sin in it….”””

According to Mirza Bashiruddin Ahmad, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad referred to Muhammad (ﷺ)‎ as “hilal” and to himself as “badr”. So it’s compulsory that the person who denies the second coming (i.e. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) is a GREATER disbeliever than the one who denies the first coming (i.e. Muhammad ﷺ).

“”As per the decree of Minhum (per Quran 62:3), it has been established that similar to the followers of previous prophets being Naaji (heavenly group), all others are Naari (hellfire group), Kuffar and outside the realm of Islam. Muhammad Ali responded with “Prophethood in Islam”, a huge book, which was published in December of 1915. In this book, Muhammad Ali discussed his opposition to the Tafkir of the Qadiani-Ahmadi’s. In summary, Muhammad Ali writes that Muslims who deny MGA are not Kafirs, since MGA was not a real prophet (instead just a metaphorical one).

Anwar-i Khilafat is a book which is the text of a speech delivered by the Khalifa, Mirza Basheer-ud Din Mahmud Ahmad at the December 1915 annual Jalsa at Qadian. It was published a few months later in 1916. In this book, the Khalifa argued most emphatically that the prophecy of Jesus about the coming Ahmad, referred to in the Quran in 61:6, does not apply to the Prophet Muhammad but to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. He also continues to deal with the points of difference between his followers and the Lahore Ahmadis. The first issue that he raises in this connection is the interpretation of the prophecy about the coming Ahmad. In July-2025, at 1:11:19, Bro Imtiaz explains how Mirza Bashir Ahmad quoted the letter to Dr. Abdul Hakim Khan Patialvi wherein it is written that every such individual who has heard MGA’s message and has not accepted MGA, they are not a Muslim. Mirza Bashir Ahmad says that this quote of MGAQ solves many problems, firstly, MGAQ was told via ilham that those who reject you is not a Muslim and this is an order that MGA should consider those who reject him as Non-Muslim.

This was repeated again in Dec-2025. There are 6 points (48:00 time stamp):

1–via ilham, MGA was told that whomever denies him is not a Muslim.
2–MGA kicked out Abdul Hakim Khan because he considered non-Ahmadi’s as Muslims.
3–Calling non-Ahmadi’s as Muslim is a dirty belief (habees)
4–whomever holds this aqida his chance at “Rahmat elahee” is closed.
5–whomever denies MGA is denying clear cut verses of the Quran, he turns his face away from the Quran.
6–whomever says that the deniers of MGA are good people, his heart is in the hand of Satan.

The ROR of April-May-1917, Maulvi Sher Ali clearly explains how MGA’s beliefs on his deniers changed over the years and eventually, landed on the idea that all non-Ahmadees were infidels (Kafir’s).

Maulana Muhammad Ali refuted these ideas and arguments most forcefully in his Urdu book of some 90 pages entitled Ahmad Mujtaba, published in December 1917. He also covered the same subject in English in his book Split in the Ahmadiyya Movement, published in January 1918. In summary, Muhammad Ali argued that MGA was not a prophet and thus his deniers could never be Kafir’s per islamic law.

We have found a reference to the Al-Fazl of 1919 wherein the Khalifa, Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad expressly calls all deniers of MGA’s prophethood as Kafirs and deniers of God.  Its from a recent online edition of Al-Hakam.

The Khalifa finally responded to Muhammad Ali in his famous book, “Aenas Sadaqat” (The Mirror of Truth)(December of 1921)) in english as “Truth About the Split”(1924). In this book, the Khalifa admitted to doing Takfir, however, he seems to have been softening his stance and referred to Muslims as “ghair-ahmadi-musalman” in english as non-ahmadi-muslims.

This is a conversation on Qadiani’s not praying janaza on Muslims. This law is brought by Muhammad (Saw). If someone denies one prophet amongst all the prophets, and point #2, you can’t make dua for them. Thus, someone who denies the prophethood of MGA is outside of Islam. Thus, blame Muhammad (saw)(mazala).

“We believe that the term Kafir applies to a person after he has passed beyond a prescribed limit. When a person takes Islam as his religion and accepts the Quranic injunctions and teachings as his guide of action, he is entitled to be called a Muslim. But if he denies a basic principle of the faith of Islam then although he may be called a Muslim yet in reality he is not so. We do not therefore take Kafir to mean that such a person denies the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Who can say to a person who says that he believes in the Holy Prophet that in reality he has no such faith?  Nor do we take this term to mean the denial of the existence of God.  One who says that he has belief in God, who can dare say that he has none? According to our definition of Kufr the denial of a fundamental doctrine of Islam renders a person Kafir. On the other hand only belief in all the essentials of Islam can make a person a true Muslim in the real sense of the word.”

This book (Political Solidarity of Islam) was a Friday khutba delivered by Mirza Mahmud Ahmad on 26th April 1935

An article appeared in Paigham Sulh in its issue of 11th May 1935 by Maulana Umar-ud-Din Shimlavi commenting on this khutba. And in Paigham Sulh dated 15 May 1935 the Friday khutba of Maulana Muhammad Ali delivered on 3rd May 1935 (i.e. the next Friday after Mirza Mahmud Ahmad gave his khutba) is published responding to Mirza Mahmud Ahmad’s khutba. Maulana Muhammad Ali also deals with Mirza Mahmud Ahmad’s absurd claim on p. 11 that: “It was the late Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din, who by his speeches and writings, at first, started this question of Kufr and Islam in our Community.”

After 1935, the controversy between the Lahore and Qadiani Jamaats continued on the same issues, and was very fierce between 1940 and 1946. See this link.

“Moreover, there is a great deal of difference betwreen our definition of Kufr and theirs. They understand by Kufr to mean the denial of Islam, which is the meaning we do not ascribe to this term when using it about the non-Ahmadis. Our view is that if a person conforms to the tenets and teachings of Islam to a given extent, he is entitled to be called a Muslim. But when he falls below even that point then although he may be called a Muslim, he cannot be regarded a perfect Muslim. We never allege on the basis of this definition that every Kafir is doomed to hell-fire for ever. We do not call even the Jews and the Christians to be Kafirs of that description. On the other hand, we believe, that every Hindu, Sikh or Christian or even an atheist will ultimately find the grace of God and finally God will say to him, “go and enter heaven”. So there lies a vast difference between the two view-points. Under their definition of Kufr they consign a person to everlasting perdition. Spiritually it grinds to atoms the person to whom it applies. For him there is no hope, no salvation. But we call others Kafirs only technically. “The True Succession”: Founding of Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement a century ago

To the strange allegation by Mirza Mahmud Ahmad in this booklet that:

“It was the late Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din, who by his speeches and writings, at first, started this question of Kufr and Islam in our Community. We have never felt the need or necessity to raise it. It is the Lahore Seceders to whom the late Khwaja Sahib belonged who sometimes feel irresistibly inclined to revert to this question…” (p. 11 of https://www.alislam.org/library/books/Political-Solidarity-of-Islam.pdf)

Maulana Muhammad Ali gives the following reply in his khutba of 3rd May 1935:

“It is a pity that the Khalifa sahib did not mention why the late Khwaja sahib raised this question. What was the fault of Khwaja sahib, about whom it is now being alleged that the question of takfir arose because of him? It was that he was giving a series of lectures [i.e., to the general Muslims in India] in which he stated that all those who profess the Kalima hold to the same principles of Islam and are Muslims. The current Khalifa, who was not then the Khalifa, did not like this. He wrote an entire pamphlet to say that the Khwaja sahib was wrong, and that all those who profess the Kalima but have not joined the bai`at of Hazrat Mirza sahib are kafir. So the Khwaja sahib’s fault was that he called Muslims as Muslims, and the Khalifa sahib is therefore helpless in having to call them as kafir because the Khwaja sahib called them Muslims. If the Khwaja sahib had not committed this mistake, of calling those who profess the Kalima as Muslims, the Khalifa sahib would not have needed to declare them as kafir!

What a curious logic? And now it is the ‘Lahore Seceders’ who enjoy raising this question, and they are in reality responsible for why the Khalifa sahib declares Muslims as kafir! Why? Because when they declare those who profess the Kalima to be Muslims, the Khalifa sahib is annoyed and says: No, they are all kafir.”

I mentioned above (link) that an article appeared in Paigham Sulh in its issue of 11th May 1935 by Maulana Umar-ud-Din Shimlavi commenting on this khutba by Mirza Mahmud Ahmad, referred to by Bilal above. I must admit that I was remiss and negligent in not actually reading this article! It doesn’t only comment on that khutba, it notes the attempt to back peddle.

In Paigham Sulh of 14 September 1935, Dr Basharat Ahmad has commented on the 1935 khutbah of Mirza Mahmud Ahmad being discussed above. Here is a link to his article.

In brief, the following is what he writes:

Some people have misunderstood that Mirza Mahmud Ahmad has in this khutbah changed his belief that other Muslims are kafir. In fact, he has not shifted one inch. What he has done is to tell other Muslims: “Just as your Ulama call us as kafir, we call you as kafir. So why are you unhappy with us? Let us both love each other because we both love calling other Muslims as kafir.” The other reason he has given is: “Your Ulama believe that all kafirs will necessarily go to hell, but we don’t believe that all kafirs will necessarily go to hell.” So Mirza Mahmud Ahmad’s calling them kafir is not as bad as their calling Ahmadis as kafir, because he is not despatching them to hell, as they are despatching Ahmadis to hell. But this is also his belief about all non-Muslims such as Jews and Christians, that a Jew or a Christian is not necessarily doomed to hell. So there is no difference between his belief about non-Muslims and about other Muslims. On the issue of takfir he has not moved one inch. What he has said relates to punishment in the hereafter. In this world, he treats other Muslims as kafir and excluded from the fold of Islam.

“The True Succession”: Founding of Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement a century ago


There is a khutba by Maulana Muhammad Ali on 26 April 1940 (Paigham Sulh, 3 May 1940), entitled: “Khalifa of Qadian refuses to enter conclusive debate. The issue of Kufr and Islam is the real root of our difference.”

In it he states:

“Everyone knows that for long an argument has been going on about this, and the world knows only that Mirza Mahmud Ahmad considers non-Ahmadis as kafir and excluded from the fold of Islam. He has himself written in his book Ainah-i Sadaqat: … [here he quotes Ainah-i Sadaqat, p. 35] If he has now changed his belief, who is stopping him from declaring this and announcing his new belief that non-Ahmadis have committed kufr of the lower kind and are not excluded from the fold of Islam? … Qadianis consider the khalifa to be infallible. … So Mirza Mahmud Ahmad could say that in 1917 it was correct that non-Ahmadis are kafir and excluded from the fold of Islam even if they have never heard the name of the Promised Messiah, but today in 1940 it is correct that they are not excluded from the fold of Islam, because the khalifa appointed by God cannot commit an error.”

1946-1947

In 1946-1947, the Mirza family played a shrill game of politics in terms of the partition of India. Zafrullah Khan and the Mirza family single handedly split up India per the British Governments request.  The Ahmadi’s were promised compensation and received it promptly when the govt. of Pakistan allowed the Mirza family to buy rabwah and run it as a state within a state, as well as a 99-year lease. Interestingly enough, outwardly, Mirza Mahmud Ahmad (The Khalifa) was against the creation of Pakistan. However, he was lying, and most likely just trying to keep the heat off of him, behind the scenes, he knew everything about the partition and was planning for it, in fact, he got a military escort as he fled from Qadian to Lahore during partition. In 1974, Mirza Nasir Ahmad urged Bhutto to declare Ahmadi’s as non-Muslims and he did just that, its all a big conspiracy. The Mirza family always wanted to move out of Pakistan, since its a 3rd world country. Mirza Tahir Ahmad completed the plan in 1984 as he got Ord-XX passed.

At the Munir Enquiry Commission, the Khalifa claimed that when he wrote Kafir for Muslims in 1921 and before, he only meant small-Kafirs, Muslim-Kafirs essentially. Here is the quote:

“It is evident from this statement itself that the people here I have in mind I take as Muslims. Therefore, when I use the word kafir, I have in my mind kafirs of the second kind which I have defined already, i.e., they are not driven or thrown out of the Millat. When I say they are outside the pale of Islam I have in my mind the view, by Mufradat-i-Raghib on page 240, where Islam has been shown to be of two kinds: one lower than the stage of Iman ; the other above the stage of Iman. In DunalIman, in the stage of lower than common Iman, are included people whose Islam remains at a level lower than a proper Iman and in the stage of higher than the common Iman are Muslims who stand at a level of distinction in their faith, higher than the common level. This is why I said that some people fall outside the pale of Islam, I had in my mind people who come under the category of Dunal Iman. There is an authentic Hadith in Mishkat as well, where the Holy Prophet said: `Whosoever helps a man who is unjust, he puts himself thereby out of the pale of Islam.’”

“Verifications in Court” is a made up book by the 2nd Qadiani Khalifa, Mirza Basheer ud Din Mahmud Ahmad.

In court, the Ahmadiyya Khalifa, Mirza Basheer-uddin Mahmud Ahmad claims that when he did Takfir against Lahori-Ahmadi’s and Muslims, he didn’t really mean it.

1965-1966

In 1965, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s published “Truth Triumphs”, in this book, they accused the Khalifa of changing his position on Takfir in 1953 and adopting the Lahori position, however, the Lahori-Ahmadi’s missed the main point here, i.e., the qadiani-Ahmadi’s had been practicing silent Takfir since 1923, and the statements of the Khalifa in 1953 were simply an extension of that.

The Qadiani-Ahmadi’s responded with “Truth Prevails”, which was ordered by Mirza Nasir Ahmad via Qazi Muhammad Nazeer, (the Principal of the Jamia-Ahmadiyya at Rabwah) it was published on 10-4-1966 (See page xiv). They argued that the Khalifa, and MGA, only meant Kafir in terms of “small kufr” or kufr wherein someone remains a Muslim.

Mirza Nasir Ahmad claims that when his grandfather and father used the word Kafir for Muslims they didn’t mean outside of Islam. This was at the 1974 NA, Mirza Nasir Ahmad was cornered, and lied about his father and grandfathers words.

Dr. Khalil Ahmad Nasir’s private address is given out for those who have questions about the subject matter, all questions about the business affairs of the Muslim Sunrise are addressed at 2141 Leroy Place, N.W., Washington D.C., at the American Fazl Mosque (which was the headquarters of the USA jamaat). Dr. Khalil Ahmad Nasir wrote an editorial on “Current Trends in Islamic Thought”. The 1925 Jalsa speech by the 2nd Qadiani-Ahmadi Khalifa is given. An essay by Zafar Ahmad Chaudhry? (Air Marshall of the Pakistani Air Force) on “Ahmadiyya Beliefs: Some Allegations Corrected” is given, in this article he talks about Ahmadiyya Takfir, the Ahmadiyya violation of the Kalima, the Ahmadiyya violation on Jihad, the split in Ahmadiyya and etc. In the next essay, the Munir Inquiry of 1953-54 is mentioned, Zafrullah Khan is mentioned, this is an essay by Dr. Syed Barakat Ahmad. In 1997, In what seems to be 1997, Mirza Tahir Ahmad gave an answer to a question about the status of those Muslims who have denied MGA. This was at the 21st Jalsa Salana in Mannheim, Germany.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad argued that anyone and everyone has the right to call themselves a Muslim. And no one has the right to declare him a Non-Muslim against his own profession.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad allegedly quoted the Quran, however, the verse is unknown.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad quoted 49:14 of the Quran (49:15 in the Kadiani Koran) and alleged that ….

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad argued that during the life of Muhammad (saw), he never deprived anyone the right to call themselves a Muslim.

—Mirza Tahir Ahmad poses a hypothetical question as to what would happen to any Muslim who denies the prophethood of Jesus (as)? Mirza Tahir Ahmad explains that if a Muslim denies Jesus (as), then his time is over, he’s not concerned with Islam anymore. In the sight of Allah, if a Muslim rejects even one prophet of Allah, then he is not a “True Muslim”. Mirza Tahir Ahmad says that he may continue to call himself whatever he likes. Mirza Tahir Ahmad re-iterates that if there is an Imam appointed by Allah, then everyone must accept him. If a person does not accept, and whether he is called a Muslim or not thereafter is irrelevant. Allah will not accept anyone’s faith, if Allah has sent an Imam and someone dares to reject him. Mirza Tahir Ahmad says, “If Ahmadi’s are right…then anyone who rejects Ahmadiyya, God will not be happy with him, God will not favor him, how can Allah love anyone who rejects the imam of the age? He quoted from 𝐾𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑙 𝐹𝑎𝑠𝑙 [a book of Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad (ra)] certain passages which purportedly declare non-Ahmadis 𝑘𝑎𝑓𝑖𝑟. The fact is that whenever someone is called “𝑘𝑎𝑓𝑖𝑟” or “outside the pale of Islam,” it is always in reference to the circle (or pale) of 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦. It is never in reference to the general millat or ummah of Muslims, who recite the Kalima. Whoever recites the Kalima is a Muslim, and this has 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 been denied in any Jama’at books or literature. They may not be good Muslims. They may be sinful Muslims. But they are Muslims, due to their affirmation of the Kalima. Hence, there are two circles. One is a circle of true Islam which lies at the heart of Islam, including those who accept the Promised Messiah (as). And the second is a circle of Millat-e-Islam, which includes all those who recite the Kalima (regardless of their other beliefs). This is exactly what is stated by Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad sahib (ra) in an article he wrote a year after writing the book, 𝐾𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑙 𝐹𝑎𝑠𝑙. I attach a quotation from this article.

What happened to Ahmadi’s pretending to be innocent? Per Qadiani’s, all sects of Qadiani’s are Kuffar! Ahmadi’s consider the words of MGA as Wahi. Razi has embarrassed (zaleel) Qadiani’s more than anyone else in the world! Muslims don’t care about the Janba group and other Ahmadiyya sects. Qaiser Raja points out how Razi was comparing Kashf from a prophet to that of a non-prophet. MGA said that he is a stinky place. Razi interrupts and asks Qaiser Raja to make an oath (say Wallah). There is nothing in common with Qadiani’s and Muslims.
